Am I missing anyone else using reds in their team colours?
Atlanta Hawks
Chicago Bulls
Cleveland Cavaliers
Detroit Pistons
Houston Rockets
LA Clippers
Miami Heat
Milwaukee Bucks
New Orleans Pelicans
Philadelphia 76ers
Portland Trail Blazers
Washington Wizards

Raps need a new colour scheme. ASAP.

I wish the Raptors would stick in the purple/red area. I've got a feeling I'm going to hate the black/gold.

Remember when the Jays had black jerseys a few years ago? Remember when they went back to blue and white and people rejoiced? That's going to be us in 10 years -- or whenever Drake becomes as popular as current day Ja Rule.

Whatever happens, if we somehow lose our mascot in all this, I'll flip. The Raptor > all. And he better stay red.

A lot of teams in the L use red and blue as the accent colour.. We need something different... the only other team using purple is the Kings and Lakers... we should go back to that. I think we will. I don't remember the quote, but I remember Drake saying that he wants to go back to our roots when it comes to our colour scheme for the rebrand. I think we adopt our old jersey scheme with a modern update... everyone loves it.

No one has purple/red/black/white in the league. I think we'll go back to it and have one of the best uniforms in the league. I also think the dinosaur is extinct... we're moving away from that look and concentrating on the claw.

I want our purple/black jerseys with the Raptor pinstripes and the old school numbering. It would be awesome on our uni's. Black Raptor pinstripes with the purple front, and purple or silver pinstripes on the back on the black back. I love the old number font... Home jerseys would probably remain the same as a normal white with the same colors and design

What were the colours??

Red/White and Black/Gold. Font is very similar to the current one but a little thinner. "We the North" on the bottom left in small letters.

I like our black alternate jerseys but the overall look could use a update but in all honesty there are a lot of other teams with absolutely terrible jerseys. So I'm indifferent really unless they come up with something significantly better.

I really can't imagine how that logo would look like. If they went for ball and claw i think they should have some really good idea in order to ditch our actual claw logo that has so much potential. You sure it wasn't a partial or secondary logo? And no purple at all? I would be disappointed if there is no purple We'd be so limited with black and gold only like the Nets are atm. Purple detail would add so much imo.

Soemthing like this?

I have never looked at the logo or jersey and thought they were bad. Yet, all these fashion icons in here apparently think we have the worst jerseys in the league. What follows is photoshop jerseys that are FAR worse than even the crappiest jersey out there.

I like the logo. I like the colors. When Drake goes the way of Color Me Bad in a few years and nobody cares about him, we'll regret any fashion contribution from this guy.

Winning cures all. We're winning....I'm wearing my Raptors gear with pride. Done.

Just curious but....how exactly did you get to see this?

And, more specifically, how did you get to see it without having to sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Just sayin....seems odd that anyone would be in a position to talk about this at this time.

Just because you sign an NDA doesn't mean you can't anonymously go onto a message board and talk about it. Had he posted and image, that's a different story.

It will leak when MLSE has to send this logo to other companies for merchandise, branding, etc...

They generally have to do this months in advance to create banners, etc....so we'll see it early in the new year is my guess.

Sorry...but no.

A non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement means just that - you do not disclose anything or you keep everything confidential. And most agreements of that type are all-encompassing - meaning they cover everything you saw or heard and relate to any form of dissemination.

If he signed such an agreement then his post is absolutely a violation of that agreement.

That is sort of like saying its OK to shoot someone if they can't trace the gun back to you.

If you sign an NDA and then disclose something you have violated the NDA.

Right, but it's a message board so regardless of this....he can mention it because a) nobody knows his true identity....b) it's highly unlikely MLSE monitors this board or would go after him.

It's the same as signing an NDA at work and then going home and telling your wife. You're not supposed to do it, but everyone does and you just hope your wife stays silent. You have a room of say 10 people who are the only people who know what the product/logo/etc looks like....you better believe they are showing that to other people. Not saying it's right...but it happens all the time.
