Hopefully this is the game that gets Ramon back on track.
Usually I am the first to point out an opponent who is overrated, but now I gotta give it up for an opponent who is underrated. Lowry IMO is probably the most underrated PG in the league, and may himself be a top 10 player. He is the heart and soul of that Raptor team, and that team would be one of the worst teams in the East without him. He makes that team go

Malone pulled him.
He gave this gem of a line tonight:

Its funny how that doesn't apply to Sessions when he is stinking up the place most of the time.
Wow.
The start of something potentially here.

Collison has been subpar since he came back from that couple game injury. I thought it may have been due to the fact that he came back too early, but maybe something else?

Wait how do we know that the Malone quote wasn't about Hollins or JT? They hardly played tonight too...

Re: Toronto @ Sacramento
Well to be fair, the starting unit sucked big time in the first quarter. It was the bench people who brought this team back from a large deficit. Rudy & BMac were the only starting players that didn't saw their minutes decreased. With good reason. Collison, Hollins & Landry (JT was plagued with fouls trouble all game long) were lackluster majority of the game. Especially, Landry. Who had 3 fouls & 2 TOs in less than 2 minutes of play. You clearly saw Landry let his frustration take him out of the game. He didn't brought his game face for that night. Sacramento's punching bag, Ramon Sessions, probably had his best performance in a Kings uniform last night. So, I could see why Malone kept him in over Collison...who didn't really look that great himself...DWill looked like pre-Rudy DWill & Casspi was Casspi. I'm puzzled why Nik played 17 minutes. I don't think he deserves those minutes..especially over McCallum. Nik, most of the time, is a deer in headlights. He continually avoids taking the open J & makes rookie mistakes. Although, his defense looked real solid.
I feel, in all of this, McCallum is getting screwed here. He has been a professional so far & has never complained about anything. Majority of the times when he gets to play, he is a large plus for the team. I don't know what McCallum can do to get some minutes here.

Can we start a thread where people can contribute hypotheses as to why Malone is so intent on playing Sessions? I have several suggestions already:
Malone and Sessions were in the same platoon together in 'Nam.
Sessions has sensitive information about Malone and is blackmailing him with it.
Sessions' mother gave Malone's mother a kidney.
etc, etc...

The Raps are good for us to compare ourselves to when considering what happens when we each loose our star player. They are such a deep team that even without DD they're going to be threat to anyone who plays them. On the other hand, we're incredibly thin without Cousins.
This game might not be a great example considering we shot 52%. BMac is quickly becoming our new 3rd option which is good news. However defensively we let them shoot 50% on the game. It doesn't matter how many points we can put on the board if our defense cannot keep the other team from putting up more. As important as Cousins is on defense, this team needs to develop a defensive presence with him off the floor.

I don't feel Toronto is under/over rated. I don't think Lowry is the most underrated PG either (Mike Conley) as he's just arriving on the scene so to speak, but I do think Toronto is good. I also think we should have won that game. We couldn't make a layup when it counted.
KANGZZZZZ!

I probably worded that wrong. I wasn't trying to mention Toronto as a team, just Lowry individually. As for Lowry vrs Conley, I guess it's just subjective and we'll agree to disagree

Another thing I think is flying under the radar is Rudy is playmaking that basketball. Up 1.3 assists this year from last year
