The show sadly has to deviate from the book. We get a lot of ish stories when they do.

Sasha, however, is a good deviation. Oddly they took away all Michonne's sexuality from the book, too. Even if she was kind of a Black Widow.

I wonder...where does the show go on from here?

- The hospital storyline wasn't captivating whatsoever
- Eugene admitted to being a liar so now we lost a major goal for the group to achieve
- Beth was offed, and she was the last meaningful connection to Daryl and Maggie
- Carl as a character hasn't been significant in a long time
- Michonne as a character hasn't been significant in a long time, and has no Andrea to connect to
- Maggie & Glen are a stale relationship, Maggie is useless and Glen's arc is done
- Daryl's arc and Carol's arc is done
- Nobody would give a sh*t if Tyrese, Sasha, Abraham, Eugene, Rosita and Tara were killed off

Even Rick's arc is kind of done. The show's been on for 5 seasons, and it's getting to the point where there's not much else to do but the same old thing over and over. They have not introduced any new characters that we can care about in a really long time. The only thing I can think of is to introduce more romantic interests, such as for Daryl or Rick.

The show will have one last gasp when they go to DC. To date it's been pretty rinse and repeat. I assume if they follow the events of All Out War the show will have two more seasons and should be done after that.

Post All Out War the comics have been boring and stupid. Unfortunately they have also been stuffing the episodes because they don't want to pass the point they are at with the comics. The story is around issue number 75 right about now. It gets really stupid at issue 86 and then picks up from 100-130 before getting really lame again.
