Has IT ever won in his nba career? Sac knew what they were doing getting rid of him! He needs to learn how to pass and play as a floor general and that doesnt mean hold it and dont let anyone post or create for themselves just hold it until you can score or make some show time low IQ pass......

gaspar wrote:This is **** nonsense. Goran Dragic's biggest problem is... Goran Dragic. Not Isaiah Thomas, not the Morris twins (definitely not Markieff), and not Jeff Hornacek. When Goran plays aggressive and makes his jumpshots everything looks different, like last night against the Pacers. But most the time Dragic looks passive and lost on the court, he can't turn the corner on the pick-and-roll or hit a jumper beyond 3 feet from the basket. His backcourt partner, the Morris twins or anyone else have very little to do with that. It's Goran who's dragging the team down, not the other way around.

Markieff on court, Dragic on court: 108.9 OffRtg, 100.7 DefRtg, 7.2 NetRtg
Markieff on court, Dragic off court: 111.5 OffRtg, 99.6 DefRtg, 11.9 NetRtg
Markieff off court, Dragic on court: 89.7 OffRtg, 117.8 DefRtg, -28.1 NetRtg

Dragic's stats per 36 minutes:
with Markieff on court: 19.3 pts, 4.5 reb, 4.2 ast, .541 FG%, .441 3P%
with Markieff off court: 12.7 pts, 1.5 reb, 1.8 ast, .294 FG%, .176 3P%

Markieff Morris in the starting lineup is the least of Goran Dragic's worries.

Goran is good and the best player on the suns he was 3rd team all nba right? You dont just have the year he did.... Goran was exhausted from playing in the world cup over the last 2 years he has played way to much ball and I expected him to be a little slow. But Bledsoe had a game where he was 0-6, and has had games where hes looked terrible, but what do we see when IT is out? The old good bledsoe from last year, and we even see the old dragic from last season. Face it IT makes other guards bad.... Go ask Ben McLemore how much better it is without IT........ Like yall dont understand how hard it is to play with this many guards its unheard of..... If you think Goran sucks thats great and your opinion, but dont act like IT is a god or something...... Dude is a loser because he doesnt no how to manage a offene, Collison is a much better floor general he dumps it off to his big man and he runs off the ball, IT literally dribbles and dribbles he doesnt no how to be a floor general at all, he thinks running the pg is racking up assists and creating for everybody... Play like that in 2k on hall off fame, any rec league, or a pick up game and you will struggle more than most of the time to win no matter how good you are of a scorer and passer, you have to let others create for themselves and play as a floor general, this isnt street ball, IT should quit and go to the globetrotters if he loves doing that. But idk you need to watch the games carefully to understand what im saying or just listen to what cousins said "IT holds the ball to long!"

No he isn't, Bledsoe is.

TheBledShow wrote:But Bledsoe had a game where he was 0-6, and has had games where hes looked terrible, but what do we see when IT is out? The old good bledsoe from last year, and we even see the old dragic from last season.

Bledsoe played his best quarter of basketball running alongside Thomas (Q4 @ Toronto). He also had some bad games with Thomas out (@DEN, vs ORL). Same with Dragic.

TheBledShow wrote:Face it IT makes other guards bad.... Go ask Ben McLemore how much better it is without IT........

No, he doesn't, go ask Gerald Green. And McLemore is still the same flawed SG he was last year with IT in Sacramento. He just gets more playing time and hits his open jumpers at a better rate than last year.

Like yall don't understand that it's not about Dragic, Bledsoe or Thomas putting up individual stats. All we should care is the Suns W/L record and IT helps the Suns win games, period.

3 guards like this wont wing a ring, but I thought Dragic and Bledsoe had the best chance to because of there overall play, I just thought the suns needed there front court to match the backcourt, excuse me I have just never been a fan of IT, and at times it was gross when dragic would always hit bledsoe for a layup if he was infront of him but than bledsoe would never pass to dragic even if he was 10 feet in front of him if he had an easy layup, just the selfish play of bledsoe at times that made me mad, I just have always liked the way Goran has played hes fun to watch, he can play both the 1 and the 2 and that makes him versatile, and hes got a great shot form and shooting touch, and hes avg defender when hes got energy like beginning of last year thanks to his 6'7 wing span but so far either goran or IT have been the worse defenders, I just think Bledsoe and mainly IT should watch how dragic plays especially on offense under control and not forcing shots even when they got the hot hand, play for your teamates, let players create, pass ahead to teamates if they have a layup. Still to many times where bledsoe doesnt hit goran in the corner when hes open for a 3 pissed me off last year.

Bledsoe is the best all around player, but I feel like Goran is on a team with a bunch of ball hogs idk maybe thats just me but i will say the world cup really screwed up goran compare his speed and energy during the blazers home opener last year compared to lakers home opener this year.... But if Eric had to chose between dragic or IT, he would tell you he wants Dragic and is probably thinking IT could be traded, I always knew goran and eric would play well together because of there previous experiences as back up pgs, starting games for injured players, and the ability to play off the ball and next to the greatest pgs in the league.

I like having a top 3 backcourt like bledsoe and dragic last year, they were actually 2 imo, and since mark jackson was a louzy coach you could argue they were #1 but its not even an argument this year warriors splash bros>, but its national attention, and you could land some free agents, with this many guards its so hard, because Dragic,Bledsoe, and IT could all be allstars if they were on a regular team as the starting pg hell take out one and leave two of em and they could both make and it doesnt mater who you take out. Goran and Eric are fine just a mix of goran being tired, and Eric pressing to much early in the year. But its nice to an actual allstar on the team but when that position is so loaded its not going to happen.

I thought Gerald played best with Goran and he always seemed the happiest with Goran...... He had there own nickname the g force, and Goran always tried to get Gerald going early. While IT looks for green, I still dont know he trys to make gerald better or just likes lobbing it and passing to him for quick 3s..... IT definitely likes 1 on 1 ball and he likes street ball style plays so he def loves playing with Green, I just thought green was more undercontrol on both ends of the floor with dragic but bledsoe and green clicked right away, took green a week to start and play well with dragic.

My thing with IT if hes suppose to be a star than how does a team with Gay who played well as a true pf last year and Cousins at center not have a record closer to .500 and how do they not compete every night, and the fact that they didnt resign Isaiah for a cheap 24 million 3 year deal, but instead sign back up collison its got to raise some eyebrows, and the fact that there .500 now and playing competative ball and looking better than last year........

Video Game Units
(min 10 minutes, at least +25 Net Rating)

IT-Bled-Green-Markieff-Len +61.2
IT-Dragic-Green-Markieff-Plumlee +58.8
IT-Bled-Green-Tucker-Markieff +55.6
IT-Green-Marcus-Tucker-Plumlee +51.4
IT-Green-Tucker-Tolliver-Plumlee +46.7
Bled-Dragic-Tucker-Markieff-Plumlee +41.8
Bled-Dragic-Green-Markieff-Len +38.7
Bled-Dragic-Green-Tucker-Markieff +29.6

Green — 7
Markieff — 6
Tucker — 5
IT — 5
Bled — 5
Dragic — 4
Plumlee — 4
Len — 2
Tolliver — 1
Marcus — 1

A few observations:

1) That list is ridiculous. Most teams, even good ones, don’t have near that many units with numbers that high. (Although admittedly, 10 minutes is a pretty low threshold, so it can only say so much.)
2) Green. Lots and lots of Green. Mostly at the three!!
3) That lone group sans Green is the new starting crew.
4) Marcus way down at the bottom…surprising?

Of course he didnt favorited this article because it was well written.
Doesnt mean much right now, but could be a hint about his feelings in the future.
Bledsoe did the same, but he was a RFA... we cant control Dragic's destiny.

He withdrew his "favorited" of this article in very short order. We cannot control his decision but we can offer him more money and years than any other team. I do not read much into this at all.
