Good win. Seems like the Hawks are slowly showing their dominance in the division. I think the league will start seeing the Hawks as a legit contender for #1 in the east. It kind of makes you glad that the Hawks didn't spend big money on Deng or Monroe and still able to win.

Good game from Teague and Korver. As for Horford, i never expect him now to put up number, when he does, its just a nice surprise, but he is no longer an all star or the face of the franchise.

Hawks really have some hidden gems with Scott and Schroder, both in talent and contracts.

Everybody says that Schroder's game resembles that of Rondo, but the more i watch him, the more i think that Schroder's game looks like Wade if you can believe that. Schroder is a good and confident passer, but he doesn't dominate with his passing or intangibles like Rondo does, rather, Schroder impacts the game with his slashing and ability to finish with contact like Wade.

I would say between Wade and Parker, because Parker is not the guy who dominated with his passing, but he's good enough to make the right pass at the right time if the other players are moving as they are supposed to do.

Dennis is a new piece, and it will need time to see him at his best.
I like all these options, and I'm confident about Horford. He certainly prefers to win than being an All-Star, and maybe Bud told him to start the season without taking risk. His game will come back, even if we don't need him at All-Star level to win.

I would say more like Wade than Parker because Schröder has surprising athleticism like Wade and a great slasher in the half court like Wade. As for Horford, i really don't care about points anymore. He just needs to get 10 rebounds per game and that is all the Hawks need from their starting post player. i could really careless if he takes 2 shots or 20 shots.

Kinda early, but I hope Dennis makes it to the rook/sophs game at all star weekend...getting good minutes and producing.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

I Just have to repeat the Schroder-Barbosa comparison. Barbosa was a better shooter, but Dennis seems to be greatly improved there. But ridiculously quick guys that can get to the rim and provide offense with the same type of frame.

Dennis can be much better as he is a better defender and slightly better playmaker but I still think his vision and playmaking are the weakest part of his game. I think last year he was looking to be the point guard while this year he is looking as a score first guy and that is what this team needs and honestly what he needs.

Seems like quite a few of the other draftees from the 2013 class are struggling. Dennis' play on a winning team would seem to make his selection a no-brainer.

This was a big win for our club. CLE and WAS are urging as well, so it's nice to see us winning the games we're supposed to and stealing a tough win like this on the road.

We need to get as many Ws in this next week as possible. The rest of the month (after Dec 13th) is brutal. Top competition every night then a west coast trip.

C-Viv reported that Horford is only at 70% recovered and Bud has said he's not yet back to 100%. Back to back games will be tough for him. I'm less concerned about his actual stats particularly on offense. I'm looking at his activity level and intensity rebounding the ball and defense.
