Cesaro has no discernible personality. Yeah he has cool moves but he has no personality to make you care about him other than saying "Swing him!"

Cesaro was very over during the lead up to WM and after he won that battle royal, and it looked like he was about to be the next big face. Then he got paired up with Heyman and it went down hill as he turned heel again, but worse was that Heyman never even cared about him; all his promos were about Brock Lesnar while Cesaro just stood there. Just mind boggling booking.

I only keep up with WWE now just to see how much farther they can fall. I read some excerpts from the Vince/Austin podcast and he has lost it. Claiming only John Cena has been able to break through and become a star? Well no s***, he's the only guy you've allowed to do that. Guys who were able to get themselves over were all eventually fed to Cena in some way (either they turned heel so Cena could humiliate them, or they had to team up with him and be his friend, thereby making them look bad to all the adult crowd who hate Cena).

Anyone know what the network numbers are? I know they were bad and I bet they've only gotten worse.

WWE 2K15 for next-gen is such a letdown. Especially the my career. 2K don't know wrestling. Wtf is that garbage?

You mean like how Cena curried bray Wyatt. Bray was blowing up and Cena comes along and dominates him every match. I think he dominated the whole dan Wyatt family the night after loosing to lesner.

I think its actually a very good game gameplay wise. Its so less arcadey and feels a lot more realistic as a Wrestling Sim as opposed to an the past games.

The MyCareer is indeed a bit of a let down, but this is 2Ks first real shot at it and they admitted that this year was mostly focused on the gameplay it self, which like I previously said, is extremely good in my opinion.

2K has always shown improvements in their games, especially MyCareer mode. If you look at what it was back in NBA 2K10 and compare it to NBA 2K15 now with the cut scenes and all those amazing new editions, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that for WWE in the future games.

I honestly loved WWE2k14. I didn't play a wrestling game since maybe 2007? but little things like replays after hitting a finisher I liked. or when you put someone through an announce table.

If I'm Cesaro I would storm into VKM's office and say to him "I am going to be your next big superstar, tell me now what you want from me. If you think I have no Charisma, make me a Face and let me show you what I can do"

Cesaro can def be the next Ziggler and connect with the fans. Have to remember Ziggler was a heel too and maybe that didn't work out so great. He also was getting squashed over and over when the fans were really behind him. We'll see though.

I remember when Husky Harris got punted off TV by Orton on his way out of the Arena he went to VKM personally and said "I know I just got written off, but you better believe I'm coming back". Now he's Bray Wyatt and one of the bigger stars of the present and future.

Part 2 of the CM Punk interview:

As much as I like Punk, I wonder how much he really listens to himself sometimes. There is this moment he talks about being suspended and not being contacted when his suspension was up. He even implies that had he been contacted and asked to return after his suspension was up, that he would have considered returning if they needed him.

Punk comes across as having the type of personality, where even if they did put him in the main event of Wrestlemania, I think he still would have found plenty to be unhappy about.

He says he could have quit at any time if he wanted to because he's an independent contractor, but seems to enjoy the satisfaction in emphasizing that they terminated him on his wedding day. The guy is master manipulator of words, though that is of course part of what made him so great.

The gameplay is cool, though it's still not as fluid as it should be. (Whipping you opponent somewhere, punching but catching air instead, etc.). Graphics are great ...but it should be since it's next gen.

I feel like if the my career was going to disappoint so much then don't leave out so many good features of past (backstage fights, Diva creation - which my fiance loves & is totally letdown with this year, limited customization, small roster, etc).

Feel like they rushed the game. Even with NBA's my career, I feel like they missed the mark again. Good concepts, but bad execution. Compare a wack game like "NBA 06':The Life" storyline to 2K's & 2K doesn't even measure up & kind of jacks their concept also (shot meter, storyline).

Career mode in "Here comes the pain" was way more fun & in depth than this year's game. Like c'mon, all this hype & talk but you have minimal cutscenes, voice-overs & lack of play motivation for a next-gen game?

He oh so definitely would have found a way to complain about that as well. There's been PLENTY of times, where a particular match outshined the "Main Event" (Final Match) of a Mania. Steamboat/Savage, Michaels/Razor, Bret/Austin, Hogan/Rock, Angle/Michaels....the list goes on and on. He's just a ****ing baby, plain and simple.

He literally wanted it all and to be THE MAN without having to do all the appearances, house shows, signings etc. Everyone rips and hates Cena for being shoved down our throats and trust me I hate him too. But the guy at least EARNS his spot. He works 300+ days a year, does all the grunt work, is there every week, endless Make a Wishes, etc etc.

Punk didn't say he didn't wanna do all the outside appearances and charity work, in fact he WANTED to do all those stuff and give WWE more exposure to the mainstream outlets, but he was never given the opportunity to do it, and WWE gave those opportunities to other wrestlers. WWE wanted to give the 2k game cover to Sheamus, but the makers of the game insisted on Punk. He wanted to do those comic con Wizard world promotions but it was given to other wrestlers as well by the WWE. I don't hate Cena, but he is push down our throats way too long, and the company has no faith with other wrestlers, and Vince picks who he wants to be the franchise guy, NOT THE FANS. If the company actually stood behind Punk and pushed him as hard as Cena, he would have been as big as him. I don't buy that cause Cena does all these Make a Wish that he should be the face of the wwe. It's a lame excuse that shows lack of creativity on the wrestling product, and making the WWE stale for a long time now. Punk was pushed as a main eventer, but he was never pushed as the franchise guy, and it is freaking lame how it's been 10 plus years with Cena still as the franchise guy, with his character being exactly the same. I understand all those points where he makes the most money for Vince, and he draws with the kids, but at the same time the WWE will never grow bigger in popularity like it was in the late 90s with Cena being on the franchise guy with his current character. It's going to continue to have ratings in the high 2.0s and low 3.0s. All I'm saying is Punk should have been given the chance to be the franchise guy, and if he fails then he should be replace by someone else, but my problem is he was never given the chance at all, and he has valid points with his displeasure with this company.

WWE main problem is a HUGE disconnect with the fans, and pushing wrestlers that they want on top, and not who the fans want.

So cm punk is gonna give it a go in the octagon? ? I'll Def be watching. How awesome would it be if he came out to his wwe entrance song.... I'm still a little disappointed that it's pretty much over between him and the wwe. I hated cm punk for a long long time, but he pulled me in slowly (pause).. Hopefully ufc works out for him.

CM Punk was the reason I came back to wrestling. I hadn't watched closely since the Attitude Era.

Hopefully he has success there and kill it, maybe that will light a fire under Vince's ass and make the wwe product better. UFC is competition in the sense that they get a lot of the teenage viewers that the wwe wishes they can get back since the attitude era. If Punk brings big business to ufc, hopefully Vince sees them as competition and try something more innovative in wrestling. WWE tries to focus on everything but wrestling to me now a days, focusing on their movie company, and now trying to make their network a success. Just make a damn good wrestling show, with great characters, and everything else will grow cause, cause the wrestling is what will make them profitable or not and they are so distracted by outside ventures that the product as a whole is suffering. Mania is part time city, with Brock, Rock, Taker, Triple H. Your biggest show shouldn't be about part timers, make some of the full time wrestlers like Dolph, Dean, Seth, Cesaro into something bigger than they are. It has been a constant and dull cycle of Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect for a decade now, it's time to move on and be more creative. Hulkamania was stale at one time, and it has gotten to that point also with Cena, it's time to start a new era.

There have been way worse things in the UFC aka James Toney. Punk should be okay, don't expect him to ever win a belt or main event but he should win a fight or two against some ultimate fighter no names.
