Possible it was something else? Dez was congratulating Murray after the long run at the end of the game and was blocking for him. Didn't look like he was pouting, so why then go to the sideline and be upset about not getting the ball?
Not that it matters and I'm not sure if this will make my point clearer or muddier, but I was more saying why would he go to the sideline and be upset, as in that doesn't make sense that was why he was yelling after we just saw him congratulating Murray on the field and I thought he might have been upset about something different. I didn't mean why would he do it as in condemning Dez for doing it.

I still don't know what to think, but until I see or hear something saying he was pissed because he didn't get the ball I have to think he was pissed we let them comeback like Scandrick was. He wasn't yelling at anyone that was in control over play calling that I saw. The one thing I read was where Romodez said on here something about not getting his "cake", but I didn't read that anywhere else. If he did indeed say that I would be pissed that he acted like that if that's the reason, but I loved when Scandrick came out yelling and at one point he and Dez were yelling together, or at each other, or near each other, or I really don't know what...but like I said until I see something giving me a reason to condemn him on this one I won't.

Dude, the entire NFL community is talking about Dez. Go to profootballtalk and see a 1000 other people agreeing with me, Schmoop and Jarntt. But you've changed from an excellent poster to King of the Dipshizzes. Earl, looks up to you and you think that makes your weak posts valid. Go back to the old Pday. Me, Cmonromo and Tist miss the old you.

Funny....this week Jarntt is cool and Earl is the minion.

but hey....you took the opportunity AGAIN to call me a name, it remains all good for you.

onward

In the New Orleans game he got upset towards the end. They then threw him a deep ball for a TD in the 4 rth. After the game they asked him why he was mad or upset. He said he something to the effect that he wanted a piece of the cake too.

I guess i misunderstood when you first said it. Not the same game or the same scenario. A I've still yet to read anything that says he was upset because he didn't get the ball. Maybe he was, but I haven't heard it.

No, haven't heard anything about last night. I did see where he said he loved - Dan- meaning Bailey and field goals are good but TDs are better. To me , one can take that a few different ways.

A national television audience once again got treated to the titillating sight of Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant screaming at teammates on the sideline.

On this occasion, Bryant expressed his anger after the Cowboys twice settled for field goals in the fourth quarter instead of finishing drives and stepping on the Chicago Bears' throats at Soldier Field.

Bryant said he hollered at teammates that they needed to seize the opportunity and not let up.

"No time to relax," Bryant said after the Cowboys' 41-28 win. "We're not going to relax because we've got an opportunity. That's the only thing I think about is an opportunity. We've got an opportunity to do something.

"Everybody knows I hate field goals. I love Dan Bailey, but hey, it is what it is. All I care about is us getting that W. There's been too many situations. We got [to get] our s--- right. We got it right."

Bryant, who caught six passes for 82 yards but was not targeted on either of the fourth-quarter drives that resulted in field goals, adamantly denied that he demanded the ball or complained about not getting an opportunity to make a play.

"F--- no. Hell no," Bryant said. "Anybody will tell you in this locker room, it's an unselfish mindset. That's what we're creating up in here. It's making sure, hey, we're doing what we're doing to win this game, not being relaxed. We don't want that. We've got an opportunity to do something big."

Bryant acknowledged that his sideline rants could look bad on television. He's not exactly concerned about perception.

"I do not care," Bryant said. "Because I know I'm not doing anything wrong. They don't know what's going on. I can't care less. They ain't on no sidelines. Nobody's on the sidelines with us.

"The only thing they're waiting for us to do is take an L and they can talk a bunch of s--- about us. ‘Oh, the same ol' Cowboys in December.' C'mon, man. Ain't none of that. We're going to take advantage of what we need to take advantage of.

"I don't give a f--- who films it. That's the truth. That's the truth. That's how I feel. As long as we get the W, that's all that matters."

Malko ......you have any questions? Thanks for your concerns for all things Dallas.

PDay, Dez is a great player but there is a reason teams passed on his elite talent. Theres a reason Jerry hired babysitters for him. Theres a reason he got counseling for anger problems. I've played on teams with excellent players who screamed at everyone and it works for about a week. THe Cowboys rocked the Bears and while the game was ending he's digging in to a coach who was trying to walk away from him.

Do you think in a professional setting one star player screaming at his coach during a win is productive? And its not only me. THere are threads and articles about this every where you look.

I did see your thread on the hoops general board. No question it's a story to the cowboy haters. Shoot, you had the masses climbing on witten as well for passion. Not many cowboy fans seem concerned...team & coaches seem good. I think it's a mole hill, hardly a mountain.

Malko,

Did you happen to notice how Dez was blocking downfield for Murray on the drive after the camera crews and the commentators were focused on Dez's "rant"? I didn't see any seflishness on Dez's part when he was in the game. He was working hard and doing his job. If he has passion on the sideline, I think that's a good thing. It reminds me of Michael Irvin. People used to say the same thing about him, but it was obvious that the "W" was what was most important to him, also.

So it's your feeling that there are coaches out there saying at this point and time "I'm so gald we passed on Dez"

If that is what your saying ...your credibility just took a serious hit.

I dont know how you came to that conclusion RJ? Im saying he slipped cause of his personality issues. He woulda been top 5. Dallas rolled the dice and he's been an incredible player on the field but what he did wasn't being passionate. Screaming and cursing at coaches during a win doesnt seem productive to me. Chip Kelly let go of Desean because he felt character is what creates winning atmospheres. I dont see how blowing up on the sideline EVERY week leads to wins. What leads to wins is having players like Demarco Murray. If I voted I'd pick Murray for MVP over Rodgers and JJ Watt. THe screaming routine wears thin quickly (49ers coach, TO, Desean, COughlin)

Heres the problem... deep down you know I bring it and you know I know football. I've always been fair and not a blinded Eagles fans. I can sit back and see what theyre good at and what they need to change. I do that with all teams cause Im not a stupid homer. But one thing I know for sure and without the slightest bit of hesitation is that you know I know football. You're just frustrated because I know how to argue productively. And its not just you... EVERYONE KNOWS IT.

yep.... you're still trying to think of a witty comeback but you know I know football.

there are many posters that know the game of football. I'd say more do than don't. I have no problem saying you know the game...and you've missed the whole point by a mile and a half.

its the twist, UK approach about what I'm not as a poster any longer, OR statements that others are my "minions" for having a similar opinion as mine as it relates to your game here.
IMO...your mouth has over loaded your real end the moment you walked in the door here, and it's pure "drama" that you point fingers at others so often.

Yeah, its drama calling BJJ a fraud. Its drama saying the Eagles aren't contenders. Its drama saying Murray is MVP or Dallas has the better OLine. Yeah, its also drama saying Chip Kelly doesn't try to get "style points". You have ZERO issue with the pure nonsense people post but when one Eagles fan comes strong you have an issue with it. Its obvious to me that there's a fair number of people here who don't know football. I NEVER troll. I'm always fair but you just broke down cause when I won the pick em league I called myself the king. Don't know if you know this but when guys compete sometimes the talk trash. Funny that you can't take one joke from 5 years ago.
