Where do players stay on the road games?

Post#1 » by SlimShady83 » Sat Dec 6, 2014 1:46 am

I've always been a little curious about this.

Do they have rules where they all have to stay together in hotel/motel etc

or

can they stay in their houses if they've bought some in different cities?

If I was getting paid enough money I'd buy houses in each of the NBA cities and stay their:)

Might be just me as I'm looking at buying end of next year:) so excited.

Some of them just bring their motor homes along with them for the trip. It gets difficult when you have back to back games in two different time zones, but that's what the travel secretary (wife/gf) is for.

Having 30 different homes would be pretty awesome though.

I don't know... But for the rest of the season, it'd be the Days Inn if I paid the bills.

My friend works at the St. Regis hotel in New York. He told me that the Cavs players stayed under an alias while there.

The team has a sleepover in the road arena.

That'd be nice but that'd be a lot of work for maintenance.

Screw the sarcasm, I am pretty sure they have team hotels. I wonder if the team budget covers the minifridge. That stuff is expensive as all hell.
On Harden being MVP of this season ( I don't even like Harden much)

Ever.
Absolute spud of a bloke and **** traits as a player, basically tarnish the MVP forever

It is expensive for you, I'm not sure it's that expensive for average NBA players

I hear when they play in Houston they stay at Slavs place. He carries a couple of cots and him and Kobe share beds.
