Dominique Jones is having a awesome season over in China.
A young SG who can score, assist and rebound.

Beasley is average like 30/12 in China
Should we go and get him back?

Looking at international dudes do nothing

We need to stop looking at scrubs and get dudes who do well in the NBA

Once again ur not informed. Just like to act like you know wat ur talking about.
So I'm going to enlighten you. He's averaging 38 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals a game.
Ok now say anybody can do that. And I'll say, then why ur not playing pro basketball.
There are a lot of NBA guys playing in China. They make more over there than in Europe.
Oh and you can't even average 20 in high school. Dominique did that in college.

Ok, 38 sounds better to me then 30. And I said SG. Beasley is not a SG.
We need a SG to back up Wade. China league will be over soon. And we
need some help!

Well the opposing teams feared the wrath of my hands, nicknamed big willie D (no homo) Of course, though the D stands for "defense" just for clarification if you were misinformed by the letter.

Oh and 38ppgs comparing it to 30 in the NBA world that's like a margin of 2-3pggs deferential.

Look young bud, I appreciate your enthusiasm and good will, but you have to realize that the Chinese league is even lower then the Dleague in terms of talent and statistical correlation to the NBA game. Put it simply - it's almost entirely useless. You can't learn anything about a player from his stats over there, they're pretty much meaningless.

There's no league that is close to the NBA, but the top European leagues are the closest and have some real NBA talent at times.

The Dleague is the tier below that, it might have some young talent that needs developing at times.

Then way below that you've got the league in China. There's a reason nobody from that league made an NBA team despite a lot of guys putting up crazy stats over there.

Name me a player who killed it in the NBA who came from the Chinese league, and wasn't an NBA reject in the first place

There is a lot of NBA players who have played in China.
During the league lock out, most of them went to China.
Because in China they can still pay there bills back here in
the US. And it's a major market. Guys can go over there and expand their brand.
It's guys that have left the NBA and has when over there and has had great
careers. And has made more money than they would have in the US.

Why else do you think during free agency, guys decide to take their
talents to China and not Europe!

1 of 2 reasons.

More money.
Inflate your stats.

China? Might as well get the best player in china back over here in Beasley. 30ppg and 12boards. Even for china, you have to be pretty good to put those numbers up. Went 45 and 17 couple nights ago.

He's in a very strange situation. He's obviously too good for chinamen. But not good enough defensively for the Nba. Well for him it's great. Becomes China's best player, scores at will an makes a career out of it over there. I've watched all his games I have the one world sports channel. He looks like he's playing for Kansas state again. No one can guard him or keep him off the glass.

NBA veterans don't go to Europe! They go to China.
Guys in Europe are trying to get to the NBA. Guys in
China have already played in the NBA. There trying to
get paid! It's cause of the new CBA. Why take a chance
of getting hurt for the veteran minimum. When u can take
your talents to China and get paid! Then come back and sign
up with a playoff team and get paid again! It's a win, win.

The point was to talk about some guys from overseas that we could bring in.
No one had a opinion of there own of who we could bring in.
So instead they just criticized my suggestion and the league.

I am not going to pile on, but it is true that the league in China (though improving) is an unreliable indicator of success in the NBA. I love your optimism though and I'll concede you're correct that the pay in the China leagues is better than the D-League, so Beasley isn't stupid at all to play there.

Neat article I read a couple days ago along the same lines. I like Mudiay a lot more than Okafor by the way.
