To "kaep" it all off.
Apparently our franchise quarterback shoved a camera at halftime, After the game denied it then said "you would too if you had a camera shoved in your face." Lovely, he's losing it, The score next week is going to be 49-0 and his qb rating is going to be 0.0

Re: To
Keapernick must say things on the field or answers back when people come at him. I don't know if I see it much with other quarterbacks. I'm sure there's a lot that is said to every position, most of it objectionable to those not on the field to different degrees.

Some of the better quarterbacks on the field say some of the nastiest, meanest, and dirtiest things while some other people would call it smart, funny, football, etc..
Whether fans let a player get away with it kind of depends on how they are perceived as otherwise and often how a player performs and otherwise acts in front of others goes along with that and is probably the biggest thing in all of this.
Because Kaepernick has not handled several things well this year he's going to be considered by many to be in the wrong or at fault partially because he has not played well. While some people such as myself kind of don't care for most of it regardless of your stature or the kind of success you have in the league, for a lot of people they are willing to overlook things that are said to other players and about other people when you're playing well and especially if you know how to handle other parts about being in the media.
I could easily name QB names who say some of the dumbest, grossest, and stupidest things you can hear to other players on the field and off but it's often not talked about it because 1) They are some of the better players at their position and 2) They know how to conduct themselves off the field and they choose to conduct themselves in the media in a way that most people would say is better than what Kaepernick has up to this point.
The biggest part about Kaepernick is, and many of us who follow these players for the draft almost on a daily basis, is that he's always been a different individual and had a different make up than most other QBs that come into the NFL mixed in with the fact that many people also have said he has an immature part about him.
Now, Kaepernick can be very mature and has demonstrated the ability to be very good with the media and speak very well for himself at times but there's a piece to him that is still younger than what you'd like to see out of your quarterback and he hasn't figured it out or at least chosen to want to put that side of him in the past yet. As I said, that was a concern that many people had about him before he was on a pro team and even as he was emerging as a player some had a problem with how he handled himself at times. It just wasn't as big of a deal based on his play, the team's success, and quite frankly I don't think anybody would say he ever handled himself quite like this in the past so all of those things combined are what's making it such a big deal now obviously.

Thanks, ChrisPozz for that informative post. I guess I just haven't seen many players get singled out like Kaepernick in the QB position was by Moore. No doubt that reflects on Moore and other quarterbacks, as you said, say things.

Good for Kaepernick, he's learning. Apparently that's what he was like at Nevada, much more open and friendly.

And for a chunk of his pro career...but for some reason that's kind of been forgotten.

It's easy to be friendly when you're winning.
As for the trash talk, I would trash talk a QB to take his mind out of the game. Get a guys jaw going and a 40 seconds becomes 20 seconds. It's hard to handle 3 plays when your head is only in the game half of the time.
So many opportunities are missed due to lack of focus. He needs to ignore everything but the task at hand. That's why he looks so much better in the hurry up.

I don't think that there was malice in that post, just a complete lack of situational awareness. It sounds like it was deleted quickly and one of his people sent out an apology message. The part that offended me was that over 800 people read that and "liked" it.
That said, while I don't have a problem with this I do hope that JJ Watt does.

It was just dumb and very oblivious of him. His whole #7tormscoming thing is pretty lame anyway, IMO. I did love Tom Crabtree's response though:

I suspect he didn't really know how bad the situation was in Texas. I actually didn't know how bad it was until recently. I haven't been following the news closely. I knew they were having alot of rain and flooding, but was unaware of the deaths and extent of the damage.
