Didn't show for practice the other day, so he was inactive. Think this was a one-time thing.

EDIT: "PJ being inactive" is probably a one-time thing, I obviously didn't mean "PJ being in trouble" was a unique case.

he's been taking more threes as of late.

it's like someone from the staff finally got him some topical game tapes after he had been stuck watching his dad on the 80s Celtics these first five seasons beforehand.

do you think henderson refutes every coaching suggestion with "but my dad says..."

I think she secretly wants the liver pooty

We so have to start a theme in the OT thread of peculiar (but none offensive) date offers you should make to her over a period of time.

"straighten your hair" was hilarious.

I'm thinking an offer of a Saturday night of scrap booking while enjoying a bucket of KFC should be next.

 you want LP to offer steph a bucket of fried chicken?

i'll share this thought before i go to bed. when most people cant fall asleep, then think of sheep jumping a fence or some other mundane task. from now on when i cant sleep, i will just think of MKG helping off his man to double the post, then closing back on his man before his guy even thinks of shooting. i'll just think of this play on a continuous loop in my brain. its my happy place.

What a terrible take on this game, even if you didn't watch it.

Lance and Kemba combine for 11 - 28 from the field. Our offense looked solid, good ball movement and spacing, they just are not anywhere close to reliable scorers right now.

Haha, he did? I didn't catch the entire game. Was it when Kembas was on the court? I feel like they're both realizing that that their two-man game needs work! Anyway, I guess it's a good thing that Clifford's shown that he's willing to bench Lance. That should keep him in check, hopefully.

there was the one moment when cody grabbed a defensive rebound and was looking for kemba, who was further up the court. lance was closer and was highly annoyed when cody didnt get him the ball. in the end, no big deal... this time.

That sequence makes it really hard for me to pull for the guy. I can see how a competitive person would show some excessive fire here and there, but to get that upset about a random inbounds play? WHY?

The strides Cody has made this year have been mostly about decisiveness and confidence. If Lance is going to berate him over every little thing, Cody might start second guessing himself and backslide. And it will be a shame if they can't work up some positive chemistry, because Lance's passing really shines when he's dishing the ball to Zeller.

Sloppy, but a W.

Just finished watching on LP.

- Hope the league goes into Rondo’s wallet for that forearm shiver on Lance.

- Marv off the bench is decidedly less messy.

- Al was hot garbage in the 1st quarter. Historically bad. Amazing he could turn it around the way he did.

- Neal has a LONG leash. Should have been pulled much earlier when he was throwing up bricks and getting torched by Thornton. Don’t care how high his basketball IQ is. Love that Bonnell threw Hendo under the bus for the Thornton binge. I saw Hendo lose Thornton once.

- I’m seeing far less force-feeding of Al in the post. This is a great sign. I was happy to see Tricky Rick reference it in his piece this morning:

“Then the ball started finding Jefferson, not because the Hornets were specifically running plays for him, but organically in the flow of the offense”

As well as Al make mention of what many of us here have bemoaned – predictable, sluggish, energy-killing, Alfense:

"Teams know my plays - every play. We need to do more like tonight - just some duck-ins that they aren't expecting."

Well stated. Clifford talked about this in the post game, said when they run sets for Al defenses get established and target him, but when he gets the ball in the flow of the offense he gets more space to operate.

:meditate: :meditate: :offtopic: :offtopic:   Guys lets stay on topic here..Forget Ready's Curls and talk about this game.

I felt we had a good win even though it was against a second tier team. Lets see how we do against the Griz vus how we put away Boston last night? Kudos to MKG,Al, Hendo and Marvin. Lance showed signs of Superstar moves without looking out of control. Kemba was slowed down by Rondo's defense,Neal's play was limited at best, and Cody won the battle of the Zmen. Biz was Biz...
We need to go 20/10 the next 30 games to get back in this.
Boston is 2 in a row.
If Memphis blows us out then will we rebound or lose another 5.
12-15-2014 is an important date. Trade restrictions are lifted off allot of players....Stay tuned!

We just held an offense that averaged 105 ppg against a really tough schedule to 87 points. I for one feel pretty good about that.

Solid win last night I guess. The monkey is off our back and now it's time to start trending towards winning ways. Kemba, my main man, you got to get it together if we want to be legit, because I doubt Jefferson goes into 'he's on fire' mode like he did last year for about 4 months straight, and I doubt Stephenson is anything more than a 15 points per game player with excellent all-around abilities

From now until the end of December we have 10 games. Only three of those games are against teams that currently are above .500 (MEM, CLE and PHO). If we could get out of December only 4 or 5 games below .500 that would be great.
