come on, you know me better than that, of course i know there's a chance we win the lottery (top 3)

but at the same time, it's a crap chance. at the 6th worst record, there's a 21.5% chance of moving into the top 3, hence there's a 78.5% chance we lose the pick

tell me, if there was a 4 in 5 chance of losing the pick, why wouldn't you want to shore up that pick??

at the 5th worst record, there's a 44.8% chance of losing the pick because all it takes is one team 6th or worse to strike lucky

at the 4th worst record, there's a 17.2% chance of losing the pick if two teams ranked 6th and worse strike lucky

at the 3rd worst record, there's a 4% chance of losing the pick if three teams ranked 6th and worse strike lucky

for each losing place we drop, there's a 34% chance jump, 27% jump and a 13% jump in keeping the pick
