Game 24 - Phoenix Suns (12-11) vs Detroit Pistons (3-19)

Post#1 » by MathiasPW » Fri Dec 12, 2014 8:35 pm

Where & When & Why: Phoenix, Talking Stick Resort Special Luxury Suite incl. Extra King-Size Bed w/ Bathtub, Free Wi-Fi, Room #304 Arena, 9PM ET

Detroit is doing much worse than they should. Let's hope tonight is not the night where they actually produce accordingly.

Starting Lineups:

Phoenix:
C - Miles Plumlee
PF - Markieff Morris
SF - PJ Tucker
PG2 - Goran Dragic
PG1 - Eric Bledsoe

IT is supposed to come back tonight. We are 3-6 without him. Let's hope it works out for the good.

Detroit:
C - Andre Drummond
PF - Josh Smith
SF - Singler
SG - Kentavious Caldwell Pope
PG - Brandon Jennings

6th Man Monroe to destroy us on the inside.

Notable Stats:
- Detroit has 6th best OPP FG% within 5 ft because Drummond. But they are among the leagues' 5 worst teams in perimeter defense, which should do us good because Green.
- Detroit has the worst FG% in the league in the paint (actually all the way to 14 ft), but are doing a bit better on long-distance shooting, where we excel at defending.

Should be a win. And a win is a double-win because it helps the Lakers...and that sounded very wrong.

32 vs 47 rebounds

12 vs 23 FT attempts

15+ turnovers

Why not?

Jodie Meeks also making his debut for Detroit tonight, for whatever value that may have

Most of their players, I mean their every player except Meeks are very bad shooters. So he may help a little bit with his shooting and spacing.

Pistons are struggling because of the lack of shooting and spacing like Hornets. Kemba and Stephenson are not good shooters.

Man I really hope we win this one. I've been depressed since the clipper game. On a side note, I really really like how ennis played.

We're going to Miles early.

Steve Albert: "You can't look down for a second in this game."
Then don't, idiot. Miles stuffed Drummond at the rim and he missed it.

Plumlee still doing silly things on the defensive end, but at least he's not dropping passes on the offensive end.

Even Tucker is pump-faking right now.
Apparently, this is the Hornacek's way to make the ball move.

I'd offer anything on this roster for Drummond. Holy crap, he's making our bigs look sillier than they are.
