This proposal is simple and doable. But it will be viewed at extremes I think by our posters here.

The question for me is whether or not the Bucks are going to try and go for a playoff berth this year or if they are willing to "sell" assets like Ilyasova, Mayo and ZaZa to acquire future assets and tank.

If we are going to tank it, then yes, I'd do your deal. I like G-Rob III quite a bit more than I do Wolters for the long-run. Short-run I'd keep Wolters as PG insurance for us.

I'd do Wolters for gr3. Simply because I like the little dog more as a prospect than wolters.

Supposedly Lance Stephenson is on the trade block. Would love to buy low on him.

Why? What do you like about his game?

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

He is better than Mayo and he is young. Good all around game. Since we are not tanking he would make us better.

Being better than Mayo is hardly an accomplishment. He's a cancer. I still can't believe people he can be salvaged.

Lance needs to be on a team like San Antonio. Winning culture around him that can slap him in the back of the head if he gets out of hand. If he came to Milwaukee he would try and be bigger than the team. No thank you.

I think it would be fun to see him on the Thunder in that Harden role. Brings some scoring and tough as nails defense.

Stephenson way too dumb, don't want him around Giannis or Jabari. Dude is like Stephen Jackson.

Not a trade but I'd be interested in signing Ray if we could, we honestly could use a shooter like him and he'd basically be another coach. Plus it would be great PR.

We already have our crazy guy in Larry and I think Larry has a good heart. Stephenson legit dumbest dude in the league and comes across as a sociopath.

the issue with Stephenson isn't his attitude right now.. its fit.

hed be an asset for the length of his contract here. id take whatever risk there is as long as we didn't give up a young asset. hornets have a lot of interest for a reason.

The issue with Stephenson is most definitely attitude. You don't want that guy anywhere near a young squad. This site needs a minus 1 button to go with the And1.

Wouldn't go NEAR Lance for this team. Even if they attached a pick for us to take him and his team-friendly contract I wouldn't do it.

The Hornets were the only team to really want him last year thinking he was worth the "buy low" contract they got him for, and they are trying to trade him the first day they possibly could per league rules  You're crazy if you want to bring that guy around what we have brewing here.

You don't think he would fit in terms of his style of play? Good size, good defense, solid assist numbers. Can easily average around 12-15 points not being the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd option. That is pretty much what we need. The only thing I wish he were better at for this team is 3pt shooting.

Or maybe you mean fit in terms of him wanting to take over the team? Given that he is already locked into his contract, he wouldn't go chuck crazy trying to earn money. We'd be ok there. Would he defer to the younger players? I'm uncertain there, but I think Giannis and Parker have shown enough around the league, and even to our own players like Brandon Knight, to command the ball as they are.

I suggested an Ersan trade for Stephenson trade here last week. Perhaps it is jumping the gun and going into the win now mode a year or two too early, but I think he is better than anyone we will get in the next 2 years in FA, and is on a very reasonable contract. It also lets us jettison off Mayo ASAP.

Post deadline Lineup (Mayo and Ersan gone, at the least)

Knight/Marshall
Stephenson/Middleton
Giannis/Dudley
Parker/Henson
Sanders/Zaza

He's a bit too on ball and not a convincing shooter. I'd give it a shot if he wasn't a terrible person.

I meant fit in charlotte. hes clearly talented... kept his head on straight down here in charlotte in a very difficult situation. he just doesn't fit there. hes a great fit for us if were going for it.

so id absolutely take a flyer on him just to see what kidd could do with him IF we were looking for a guy. the way our veterans have responded this year to kidd makes me confident on a guy like this right now. he plays a position of need on a value contract and were looking for 3rd piece level talent. for me its a nobrainer depending on asking price.

we wont be interested tho. I feel were more likely to unload pieces then try to add "that guy" this year.

I certainly like Stephenson the player and he certainly would have shut Matt Barnes up, But the shenanigans surrounding him plus didn't he drag his girlfriend down the stairs by her hair in college ?
