Rambling on how Dallas can set themselves up.

Post#1 » by ncmalko1 » Mon Dec 15, 2014 4:52 am

I'll try and figure this out as I go. Dallas is looking like the 3 seed most likely. Obviously you want to play 2 teams in my opinion Cards and the NFC South winner. Seattle is gonna smash the Cards next week making them the one seed and GB the two. Looking like Dallas will either get Detroit or AZ round one at home.

I guess it doesnt matter cause I dont see Dallas beating GB or Seattle in their house at this time of the year. I guess its time for Dallas fans to root for AZ to lose cause thats a VERY VERY beatable team.

*Notes from the Eagles/Cowboys game. Dallas won this game for a few reasons. One, when Philly went up 24-21 Romo lead them on a great drive down the field to take the lead again. Dallas had a HUGE advantage in the QB battle. I actually think Sanchez is an excellent back up for 2-3 games MAX. But he just made so many bad plays and missed a ton of open WR's the last two weeks. He is slowly starting to crumble. Next, you got to give it to Dez. In Phillys blow out win he walked off the field saying, "Two more weeks" and came to Philly 2 weeks later and put on a clinic. It was like a man playing with boys tonight.

*Man, Phillys front 7 did a great job on Murray.
*Witten really had a key role in opening the field up for the Romo-Dez connection.
*Why doesnt Philly get the ball to Sproles more?
*Down 8 in the 4th Ertz picks up a 1st down to make thing interesting. Incredibly lucky play that his entire body lands on a Cowboy and the ball squirts out cause his body simply cant touch the ground.

I guess theres only one more thing to say as an Eagles fan... "Lets go Colts". I actually dont feel that way. The Eagles team is good IMO but the secondary is just incredibly bad. THere just arent playoff ready. I think Philly is a better regular season team with Foles then Dallas but Dallas is built for the playoffs with the OLine and Murray.

Wait... am I wrong having you root for Seattle? Maybe you want AZ to get the one seed so if you win week one in the playoffs you could go to AZ the next week. Wouldnt it be amazing for Dallas to play Detroit round one and escape Seattle and Green Bay and face the Cards week 2? Maybe Im not thinking straight. We shall see.

When Im waxing your Moms ass Im in full concentration mode though.

Funny, 2 weeks ago when Philly won you didnt show up for days. Now Dallas wins and youre on here immediately! But like I said, If Dallas loses next week you still have the Tar Heels and all the other great random teams you root for. Hopefully Alabama wins you a title this year too BJJ. THat your squad too?

I also hope Arizona wins next week so Seattle can't have a home playoff game.

Your assuming Green Bay and Seattle will win out. I guess you got it all figured out.

Earl, GB has tie breaker over Dallas and so do the Lions. Dallas would need to win out AND have either GB AND Detroit lose one of their next two.

Big big advantage for Dallas in that the Colts clinched. Its just not a must win game for them.

Thats cool you feel that way but heres what seperates us. You dont know football so you cant back anything up with fact. You just say goofy crap like, "Eagles are pansies and are going to lose to both" The Eagles beat both all ready. Sure we could lose cause Philly isnt a great team. Just like how Dallas LOST to a HORRIFIC Redskins teams. Damn your stupid. You simply cant argue.

What seperates us is the difference in our trophy cases, bottom line.

Yeah it's pretty messed up. We need a lot of help to get a bye and I think that's stupid. We basically need Seattle to win out, Detroit to lose next week to Chicago and then Detroit needs to beat GB. All seeming very unlikely. It's good to know that the Cowboys win in Seattle means absolutely nothing now. It also makes me angry because I think about the fact that the Lions have 3 fluke wins on their resume. They are not a playoff team. They've been lucky. They should have lost to ATL and New Orleans. Hell, they beat ATL because of their own penalty. The Vikings pretty much outplayed the Lions today and Bridgewater let them back in the game then they get a 26 -yard FG blocked. It would be a shame if they kept Philly or Dallas from making it.

You guys are talking about byes and I'm just hoping we make the playoffs. Eagles are likely winning 11, which means we need to beat the Colts IMO.

It wouldn't be a shame at all if the Egals got knocked out.
