We all felt it last night. There we are late in the 3rd Qtr and Philly had just scored 24 unanswered points.
It's December, the season is pretty much on the line, and that all too familiar feeling starts to settle in.
But then these Cowboys showed you why this squad is different. Against this defense in their house with all the momentum in their favor, these Cowboys nut up and march down the field and score.
I think that drive showed more intestinal fortitude then any drive has in years.
And I'm real proud about that.
Go Cowboys!
A moment of real pride.

Good Post!
they've showed signs all season that their resolve was 180 different from past Dallas teams.
24 unanswered and the place is going bonkers singing that stupid high school fight song and all Dallas did was go right down the field and score. That was 17-3 Dallas from that point on.
IMPRESSIVE!!!

You are right on this. When Philly stormed back I thought Dallas was cooked. That was a HUGE drive to come right back and take back the lead. Thats what this team lacked over the years.

Since week 4 this team has given me the same feeling I had with the 1975-76 Cowboys. I hope the ride is as good as it was that year.

One of the best cases of reloading instead of rebuilding I've ever seen. Staubach, Drew Pearson and Preston Pearson had such a great, incredible memorable year. Landry showed and proved to everyone why he was legendary bringing back the shotgun offense and using Preston Pearson the way he did and took the first ever wildcard team to the SuperBowl.

Always felt Hollywood Henderson would have been the best LB to ever put on a Dallas uniform. But drugs destroyed him. He was a more athletic Chuck Howley. Herb Scott, Mike Hegman, Pat Donovan and Bob Bruenig were nice finds as well.
