I actually liked 2K12 better than 2K11, but yeah 2K13 and especially 2K14 were letdowns to me.

I have almost no complaints about this game, it plays exactly like I'd want a basketball sim to play, the only annoying thing I've experienced so far is that one of my myGM files has frozen and I can't play it anymore. Thank god it was my Pelicans myGM where I only sim and not my Hornets myLeague, I would have been furious.

I'm currently about 8-12 after starting 1-7, so things are looking up. Stephenson is a baller in this game and is hitting about 44% from three so far. I've beaten the Bulls and Warriors pretty easily, and just recently beat the Hawks after they had beat me by almost 30 last time out.

Goddamn do I love this game, I can't wait until class is over so I can go and play some more.

I'm 11-8 with the Hornets, and its the genuine Hornets roster except for the addition of 1995-96 Jordan.
I got hammered in my first few games but have won 4 of my last 5.

Yeah Stephenson is awesome, he's an incredible dunker, very reliable defender and consistent shooter from all ranges. Great fun to play with.

Jefferson scored 36 points on Atlanta in my 86-84 victory, and I got a bit lucky because Stephenson stole the ball with 8 seconds left and fed Kidd-Gilchrist for the dunk.

I've beaten the Warriors twice-

Hornets 100 def. Warriors 94
(Jordan 44, Jefferson 17)

Hornets 123 def. Warriors 116
(Jordan 26, Walker 22, Jefferson 18, Stephenson 16, Neal 12)

I beat the Bulls 100-85 in my most recent game, and it was the only quiet game of the season for Jefferson (only 7 points, and Noah is the first man to give him trouble), but it really gave me an excuse to give Jordan more shot attempts than usual (Jordan rarely attempts 20 shots). Hornets won the 4th quarter 32-18.

I dislike Curry more than any player in the NBA, so I never give him room, and would much rather leave Thompson open than give Curry anything.

Do any of you guys ever play the MyTeam mode? It's probably my favorite thing on the game and lately I've been hooked on it. They added an auction system in this year and it has made it so much more fun being able to really cherry pick your players.

Yeah I liked myTeam last year but always thought FIFA had the better mode with the auctions and all. Now that they've added it to NBA2K I'm really loving it. I mostly play Domination because I can't stand online play since it's full of cheesers and I'm more of a sim-oriented player, but I've really been digging it. My starting 5 so far is Tony Parker - Monta Ellis - Pierce - Ibaka - Noah with Brook Lopez coming off the bench. Parker is sooo much fun to play with, but he just got injured for 12 games

My player is leading the league in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, fouls, and turnovers from the PG position- 35/14/13/3/3 with 5 fouls and more turnovers.

At least something basketball-related is going right for me right now...

I stopped playing 2K because I feel guilty whenever I win a game with our team. It just doesn't feel right lol.

I have Michael Jordan in my Hornets, so my wins feel right.

Domination is usually what I play also. My five is Deron Williams, Lance Stephenson, KD, LMA, and Dwight Howard with Jose Calderon providing a lot of my bench scoring. The auction system is so fun to play with trying to flip people for a profit

Anybody have issues with the new update from this week?

Maybe it is the sliders I already had that has made it weird.

i just played the Heat and shot 47 free throws and only made 23. Both absurd numbers.

If/ when I buy this game for the 360 does anyone want to get a fantasy league going on?

My friends and I had one on the last game where we drafted our players and played it out in an 82 game season. It was awesome.

I'm getting a ton more free throws in MyCareer as well. Glad someone pointed out it was due to the updates because I legitimately thought I was finally getting Dwyane Wade treatment from the refs instead of MKG treatment.

So just got done playing 2k again (MyCareer) against the Clipps

-I got lob dunked on about 8 times (3 in a row by Jordan)
-Marcus Thorton turned into prime Ray Allen
-Lance really does suck (on my team, Hawks) he didn't do anything
-My team choked (just like real life) Teague and Al both blew layups in the last 30 seconds with us behind by 1-3 points
-I finished with 36/13/5/5, we lost by 6
-Nobody but me can rebound, had to have given them at least 10 offensive boards

Contemplating starting a MyGM with the 6ers.

I am growing frustrated with my Hornets one. Mostly because I feel too attached to the players to make moves. Wanting to try and keep it as life like as possible.

I'm thinking the 6ers because they are just awful and I can build them how I want because I don't really care.

The Hawks suck in the game. I signed my first 10 day with them and was glad when they didn't renew.

My Kings are pretty dope though. Cousins is automatic, McLemore rains threes, and Rudy Gay is pretty solid too. Ryan Anderson, Shabazz Muhammad and Kevin Martin were trade acquisitions from before I got there (Anderson for Stauskas, and Jason Thompson+Ramon Sessions for Bazz+Martin I think), and all of them score okay. Nobody can defend but the offense is good enough to where it doesn't really matter too much. We're slightly above .500 after a five game losing streak and MyPlayer leads the league in points, assists, steals, and turnovers while being second in rebounds, blocks, and fouls. Shooting percentages are FINALLY decent now too.

PF-Me-Goodwin (rookie dude)
C-Al-Antic

there is another rookie, he doesn't play cant remember his name

I average 27/12/4/1/5 (PTS/REB/AST/STL/BLK) shooting 53%, 37% from 3 and 78 from the line, i sim some games so it brings down my averages, im 86 overall

I am seriously thinking about asking for an Al trade, he is really bad.

I am a free agent after this season, i dont know if i'll resign.

Teams im interested in joining, Denver,Suns, Rockets,Warriors.

I won't join another team i have played for in a 2k game, Dallas twice or more, Hawks twice (counting this time), Knicks, Grizzles (my best player ever), Lakers for a little, Portland and Miami. I think thats all.
