OK let's look at the sacks:
Joe: 192 regular season game played for 313 sacks ==> 1.6 per game
Tom: 206 for 359 ==> 1.7 per game

Thanks for proving joe has a quicker release and better decison making

This is why debating which QB is better is pointless, because people are going to think what they're going to think regardless. Why can't it prove that Brady's O-line wasn't better?

And better decision-making?

Brady for his career has a lower INT% and a higher CMP%. Both of those have a higher correlation to decision-making imo. And he didn't play with an all-time WR outside of 1 season (07).

Appealing to authority isn't much of an argument.

BTW, I do have Montana #1...Brady #2...but statistically and stylistically, I can see Brady's argument for sure.

Either way, it's not nearly as obvious as some people are trying to make it. There are SO many different factors that affect how good a player looks in certain situations...it's pretty much impossible to come to a definite conclusion in a player comparison between two great players...especially in football, when there are 10 other players on the field.

Dallas plays the Giants, Redskins, and Mark Sanchez-led Eagles twice. Probably have the easiest schedule in football.

In fairness they also have to/had to play the Colts, Seahawks, Cardinals, and 49ers.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Exactly, this ia exactly the reason why Brady is number 1. He has won with multiple rosters (and different offensive systems).
(i.e. Team figured out Randy Moss and Welker then they integrated the 2 TEs)

Last year was the perfect example:
Please go find me a Roster that Montana elevated without any marquee name on the Roster and I will be willing to reconsider

49ers are a mediocre team. I'd assume the Eagles would have 7 or 8 wins with Sanchez for the full season. Basically they have three hard games, and even then I don't consider any of those three close to elite. That's terrible for a full season.

Eagles need to win out (very possible against the Redskins and Giants), and Dallas needs to lose one of their remaining games (very possible against the Colts) for the Eagles to win the division (they own tiebreak).

I think the Eagles are still the favorites for the division as of right now.
