Can't start mass subbing with under 5 minutes in the game. Geez, I miss Malone already.

Westbrook is the best PG in the game.

Westbrook is amazing. I always liked his tenacity and aggression towards the rim lol

Westbrook. I'll never understand the hate for this guy. He was a beast tonight. He wore down CP3 and dominated that match-up in the playoffs last year. Simply the best PG in the game.

It's hard for him to settle into his game when they ignore all of our bigs on pick and roll. His bread and butter is the mid range off a screen.

Because any team that relies on a little guy to be their paint presence finds it harder to adjust when teams close off the paint. A guard driving to the rim from the outside is way different than a big that can own teams in the post and that's why historically back to the basket players have many rings, penetration guards not so much. OKC is still one decent post player away from being almost a perfect team however. (cough: Carl Landry :cough)

Yea I agree with that. Its actually one of the reasons I wanted Collison over Thomas. Ideally your starting PG will be low usage and make the least of all your starters. All you need is a guy to play defense, initiate the offense, and spread the floor.

FWIW I suggested Pek for Perk on the trade board (salary relief for Minn. and post up play for OKC) and both fan bases were insulted I would even suggest such an idea. Personally I think OKC would steam roll in the playoffs with that roster. How would you even begin to stop that offense? And Ibaka is essentially the perfect PF to go along with Pek.

I can see why Minny fans would be, haha, but I agree, I have noticed resistance from OKC fans in that area. That team plays one of the most unconventional styles of ball and yes, it's worked, but it could still work if they had someone to go to down low once and awhile. If OKC fans turned that kind of deal down then they are drinking the Kool Aid.
