KD: "I'd want to play with a guy like Kobe Bryant"

Post#1 » by kblo247 » Wed Dec 17, 2014 5:31 am

"Excuse my language, but that's (expletive)," said Durant, who congratulated Bryant via text message after he surpassed Jordan on Sunday. "I want to play with a winner every single night, especially somebody who wants to win that bad, who works that hard, who demands a lot, who raises up your level. I'd want to play with a guy like that every day. ... (His style) may make people uncomfortable, how he acts and just how he approaches the game, but I love that type of stuff. I think (the accusation) is BS."

 extend him mitch

I love the thought of KD or Russ here personally, to go alongside a Marc/Rondo/Randle/ and older Kobe on a kareem farewell with Swaggy off the bench

I'd take last night's Westbrook over Durant (admittingly because I believe we'd have a better chance at him signing with us) ...but the way Russell closed out the game was dominant. I've never seen a PG like this:

The trouble with us getting Westbrook is his game probably won't age that well and he'll be exiting his physical prime by the time we could get a swing at him.

Oh well. Still maybe the most exciting players to watch today.

His loyalty is to OKC. He will never sign anywhere else.

Reading about this on the GB is ridiculous. It's like those posters over there actually believe the crap that comes out of their mouths.

If we had a chance at Durant or Westbrook, you best believe I'd go with the MVP Durant. I think Westbrook is a spazz.

This was about Durant backing up Kobe, not hinting at LA. It's not happening.

33 PER, that's prime MJ territory there. Clifford Paul isn't a top 2 PG now, which is awesome.

Shots fired at Matt.

I agree though. I love watching Westbrook play and would love him on this team.

kudos to Durant for being politically correct. All the players know that Kobe is a jerk.

His comments don't hold much weight, this was nothing but a volleyball return for the media reaming out KD over his "pu**y" reference to Howard. When Kobe said KD doesn't really feel that way the heat stopped. Kobe is one of a few guys that when they speak on something they have enough clout to kill it off. It was a favor for a favor.

Can't believe so many guys got caught in that web.
