Rodgers
Cost me a chance at 2k. After averagimg a league high 28 points a game, he amassed me a massive 4. I could blame it on Carr too since I was playing MacLin. I got beat by 7 points. The consolation game is still worth 300, but I think right before game time I am gonna release Rodgers so he can't beat me. I have never liked him.

Re: Rodgers
sorry to hear that romotodez
I'm in the championship with $1500 as the prize.
Funny part? I've rode Andrew Luck all year and LOVE the match-up

Re: Rodgers
Oh I never play any player playing against my team lol. Glad we didn't play the Steelers this year. I did play the skins TE vs us this yr. I guess I will play the Colts K this week too. I don't feel like snagging a K off the wire.
Having Luck though- with 1500 on the line- and Brandon Carr on the the opposing side - I think I would do the sensible thing.
With that being said I would gladly trade the 1500 for a W.

Re: Rodgers
Rodgers is better right now brother. No way do I start a FF player against the Eagles. I rode Murray all season and traded him before the 2 games in 17 days. Truth is I might hang up my FF teams. Id rather just watch the games then be mad when Sproles scores and not McCoy. Its stupid.
And how can you not like Rodgers in FF. Didn't do great last week but he's awesome.

I have never liked Rodgers for some reason. Maybe because he plays on one of the best teams every year and I'm usually pulling against him. He is a very good qb no doubt.

Congrats to PDay. like Romo I went down week 1 of the playoffs. Luckily if I come in 3rd I can still win almost 2K.

Wow, we started playoffs week 13. Still 2k would be a nice Christmas present.

Sorry, to clarify. This one I split with someone, so it's really only half that for me. I used to be in a league with much larger prizes, but it folded. That was a serious payout.

Romotodez and Malko hit on the very reason I just can't do the FF thing. I tried it one year. I just couldn't get myself to be excited about players from other teams doing well, even when money was on the line. To me, blood will always be thicker than water, and my blood is blue and the cells are in the shape of the Star.

Yes, but not for big $'s. Was mostly trying to get a feel for it. What I noticed is if you enter into a tourney on Thurs night, half the people pick all Thurs guys so it gives you an edge if you pick weekend players too. For instance a lot of people Thrus night will pick the Tenn and Jax QBs, while you can pick your dearly beloved on Sunday...

that's never been a problem for me. If I had Luck I'd happily start him this week. Wouldn't even think twice. During the game I would root against him, but I would never sit him this week

I have a friend that plays it. He has up to 25 teams a week. Crazy. He has made a little money. He claims it is set up just like poker almost
