I've been sick as hell the last 2 days.

I got to watch the game on TV last night since it was on ESPN, so that was cool.

As soon as it was over I said **** BROOKLYN, turned off my TV, and went into my sickly sleep.

I can't believe what I am reading through this PG thread. Where is the maturity? And Landry Fields wife posts on Realgm, don't make her feel uncomfortable. She's a regular Raptors fan like the rest of us.

I for one would be perfectly happy with a ban of any poster posting pictures or talking about a player's wife or gf. I could not give a **** about this sort of juvenile lecherous gossiping and it just makes us all look like teenage morons.

And yes we should be welcoming female posters here as the Raps fanbase grows and that means not being sexist jerks just because you're online and anonymous. as many others have pointed out, there is no shortage of places online to look at pictures of beautiful girls. this place can get along fine without them.

just as a reality check...picture yourself sitting with some friends who are Raps fans, and this group includes a few smart and enthusiastic girls/women. One of them is saying how awesome Lowry played tonight and you whip out a copy of Maxim and hold up a picture of some half-naked gal and shout "Wictory girl". Now, will you be considered respectful and interesting by your friends, or will you be seen as an immature jerk?

Not that I condone posting half naked females on here..I don't care either way, but some of you guys are being way too sensitive.

- you guys act like you've never met a female before and are talking about them like they're angels. It's not like they don't check out or criticize the appearance of other guys AND girls, objectify men in their looks and financial success.

- those pics aren't exactly insulting. It's objectifying women, which is how this world works. Yeah, it's not ethically right to base things on appearances, but it's how our brains are wired. Look at Americas Top Model, dumbest and worst show ever that's purely about objectifying women and it's all girls who watch it. Everyone objectifies things and is materialistic to a point.

- if you want to be a white knight and complain that's it's insulting or whatever, that's fine..but I expect you to do that in every scenario. When we have threads on the GB about the best nba body with half naked pictures of ibaka and amare, I want you guys to make the same type of speech. To me, I don't really give a sh-t if other people are looking at another guy's hot body or if a girl says a certain NBA player is good looking. Imo, it's more a waste of bandwidth and off-topic than it is offensive

- you guys realize that the woman chose to model half naked right? Is it disrespectful to her if anyone posts her pics? She's using her own body to make money and even got breast implants. What she did is way more disrespectful to herself and I'm pretty sure she didn't get those pictures taken so that guys could examine the type of sofa she was sitting on. On the other hand, you guys think Fields would have married her if she wasn't good looking? Dude decides to marry a model for her intellects right? He should know that guys oogling her comes with the package.
