Another CP3 Late-Game Miscue

Post#22 » by Ranma » Thu Dec 18, 2014 5:45 am

Paul flubs a gimme alley-oop to DJ for his first turnover of the game and missed opportunity to take the lead.

DJ Clutch at the FT Line

Post#23 » by Ranma » Thu Dec 18, 2014 5:50 am

DeAndre Jordan with 3 late-game clutch free throws with the latest set for the tie and then lead when he's 7-15 from the charity stripe tonight.

well, if you don't like to win then you can make dumb mistakes like these over and over.

Another Choke Moment

Geez...Griffin takes his eyes of the ball and fumbles away a great opportunity for either a slam or contact for two shots and the foul.

Here I am pondering if the Clips should foul up three and Indiana with no timeouts. They made it a lot easier for us than they should have.

These missed free-throws made the game so much harder than it needed to be. :nonono: I'm relieved that they missed the final shot, but it would have been fitting if it went in.

Lucky Win

Post#29 » by Ranma » Thu Dec 18, 2014 6:08 am

The Pacers played a hard-fought game but the Clips kept giving them opportunities to win this game and Indiana blew a few plays as well as the Clippers did.

DJ finishes with a career-high 23 rebounds but finishes second to Andre Drummond's 24 for the most boards on the night. Drummond, coincidentally enough, also garnered 4 steals tonight but finishes second to CP3's 5 total steals.

Blake and DJ combined for 39 rebounds. That's what I'm taking out of tonight. Great job by them.

Because I love it. Think he plays better when he doesn't.

I was so tired last night that I fell asleep before the game was over. I'm glad that we wound up winning and it sounds like we were lucky. I know we were down at the beginning of the 4th so I'm glad that we were able to come back and take the lead.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Always a positive if you are taking good shots for you. If you're aimlessly chucking then you'll need to care more lol.

He isn't aimlessly chucking

The Clips played down to the Pacer's level. CP3 was not himself; he lobbed it 5 feet over DJ's head and had 2 balls bounce off himself.
Something is not right w/ the Dude, even though he got mad in the last 3 minutes and made some great buckets.

He fired up a backcourt shot at the buzzer. A lot of players protect their percentages and heave it after the buzzer.
