Oh. My. God.

To the poster who quoted me, yes I definitely enjoyed this shooting blowout!!

We have now gotten our revenge in our return against CHA & CLE!

This was. The best game of the season by a mile for sure.

Mack..bro..you killed it

Baze, your really improving over these last couple of games and we all see it. Keep it up!

Dennis, you tested LeBron "King" James on that blow by lay up. And WON. Dennis fears no one!

Horford, your killing it. You bullied your way around in the post tonight instead of sticking to all jumpers. That's the Horford we like to see!

Don't have the time to list all our guys but wow what a night, well deserved win ON THE ROAD!

First legit big win for the Hawks. Nobody can say they beat...but one of their starters were out.

Big weekend coming up, HOU, DAL, LAC and CLE again.

I'm surprised Thabo getting outplayed by Bazemore

This is one of the biggest Regular Season wins in my 19 years of Hawks fandom. To go into CLE and win this game without our best player is phenomenal. Coming back from a 8 point deficit to a 29 point win on the road is huuuuge.

It's a great feeling to know my favorite team won't be out-coached or out-hustled.

Horford is officially back. All the talk of his demise was indeed premature. He simply needed to work back into game shape. He's avg 17/7/3 over the last week+ on 55% shooting. He's returning to playing in the paint and being the focal point of the offense.

Schroeder...is ready. He will have ups and downs. But I finally feel comfortable handing him the reigns. I'd prefer to get a vet PG to back him up and help him in his development. But the kid has got STAR potential. Ten assists and 1 turnover is uber-impressive.

Mack played very well tonight. I give him crap when he plays poorly, but he has earned much kudos for his recent play. I give him all the credit in the world for a big performance tonight.

Teague better get back shortly, before he really is on the trading block.

From the CAVS blog on ESPN...what the Atlanta Hawk looked like to Cleveland fans last night:

Hawks getting national buzz after spanking that cavalier butt:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/SekouSmithNBA/status/544835736684335104[/tweet]

THE HAWKS ARE FOR REAL NBA 5-star review: Atlanta's playing some pretty Spursian offensive basketball right now, and Cleveland is its latest victim. The Hawks downright demolished the Cavaliers, their 13th win in 15 games. They've done this without a lot of fanfare and a lot of it has been against subpar competition, but it's time to start paying real attention to them. Al Horford took a little while to get up to speed defensively and second-year guard Dennis Schroeder is showing more signs every game. The ball movement is just awesome, and even though Kyle Korver only attempted three shots against the Cleveland, his presence just opens everything up. Jeff Teague didn't play because of a hamstring injury, but in a very San Antonio-like way, there was an unexpected hero...

Jeff isn't getting traded this year. Maybe in the off-season but not this year.

If you told me we would win by 20+ Points and Korver would only have 3 shot attempts and 4 points , without Teague, I would have laughed.

Total Team effort.

Skip Bayless just said that Atlanta has a formula to beat Cleveland and that the Cavs will have a lot of trouble if they run into us in the playoffs. Stephen a Smith just kept dismissing us on the other hand, saying that we're not talented enough and that he picks Washington over us because of Paul Pierce...

Before the season started, i said that Lebron/Love/Irving was going to be worst than Kobe/Dwight/Nash, everybody called me crazy and said the Cavs were clear #1 in the east.

I still think the Cavs are a poorly assembled team. I like the Hawks and liked how they didn't freak out about not signing a major players in the summer. but i'm not putting too much into this win, because its kind of a fluke win.

In the first meeting, the Cavs shot 65% from three, and in this game, the Hawks shot 57% from three, so that really makes it hard to analyze both teams and the match up.

Has Stephen A ever been correct in picking a winner in basketball? He is consistently wrong year after year. It is actually a good sign that he didn't pick the Hawks. Stephen A is so wrong, and consistently incorrect when it comes to basketball, that if i had to bet money, i would bet on the opposite on what ever his analysis was.

in a playoff 7 game series, you would be insane to not side with Cleveland.

Hawks have a shot if they shoot well, but go look at the 3 pointers made. If we have a bad shooting night from 3, its tough to win

Yeah true but if they feed the ball inside to Al and Millsap they're in trouble. Love and Varejao couldn't do anything to stop them. Cavs don't have a rim protector

Return to Atlanta Hawks
