Bye bye Boston. Amazing that my favorite hoops player ever is now a Maverick. Oh and a side note he also wears 9.

I hope nothing but the best for Rondo but I follow teams not players, plus the trading of Rondo brings another 1st round pick to a team that has a bunch already.

I was never a Boston fan until Rondo got there. Loved the yrs with KG, PP, Ray. Those guys especially KG were great for Rondo. Rondo reminds me a lot of Scandrick or Rolando McClain- meaning extremely intelligent but can be an ass. Of course'me being a Kentucky fan, I naturally loved Rondo. Boston has a young guy that will now get more PT in Smart. They have some good young players too in Sullinger and Olymyk I think it was a good trade for both sides.

That's fine for some but not I. So if Romo was signed by the Skins would you be a Skins fan?

Not trying to pick a fight but there's a reason I follow teams rather than players.

No it's different in football. I would hope Romo would do well but Dallas will always be number 1. The Cowboys are on a different level than anything else. I will say I did start liking the Broncos when Dorsett went there but never more than the Boys. When Emmitt went to the Cards - I pulled for them in every game but the Cowboys.

As far as hoops though, here in TN it was hard growing up to really get into the NBa. One was either a Cs fan or a LAkers fan. Of course I was Lakers. Many look at Kentucky as one the best basketball Universities which it is but that really never translated to the NBa until now. Heck just about every team has a former Wildcat on their team now. When I was growing up though, UK players that made the NBa were never superstars. Mashburn had some nice yrs. Bowie was always hurt. I actually started switching teams when Derek Anderson came into the league. Then Rondo was special.

It would be extremely hard though to root for the Skins.

Before our big blow up Twist and I got into this same discussion last summer after the Spurs won the title. I told him I was a Spurs fan for 1 yr. he didn't understand the 1 yr thing. It was because Derek Anderson played for them. I bought Nba league pass and watched every game lol.

Mavs gave up a ton to Rondo IMO

If Celtics are not one of the best in 4 years Danny Ainge will be in the South Pacific sleeping in a hammock :)

Return to Dallas Cowboys
