Our colours were never black and white, so it's understandable why that colour scheme would make it look like the Nets logo who uses those as primary colours. Aren't more teams moving toward this circular logo's so maybe its some unwritten protocol for new logos, whether secondary or primary. It will look much better with colour, already growing on me, and its easy to merchandise.

trying to imagine this on a jersey. Do we make the logo small like brooklyn or have it be the focal point like GSWs jerseys?

There could be other versions that end up on a Jersey and not this one.

As i prefer the logo with a purple circle outline, this is how i think our court should look like if this is our new logo:

Take away the outer circle and it reads a lot less like the Nets logo.

We've been told time and time again that the colour scheme will be changing as well, so don't get your hopes up for red and/or purple.

I think they are just using black and white as the default colors. I think they are just throwing out the design of the logo, the basketball claw, which I like.

Logo isn't bad but the color scheme resembles too much of the Nets. Maybe go back to Gold and Black

There's a poster who described this exact logo like 3 weeks ago as our rebrand logo.

I'd like to see that post.

Can't find it but i'm sure someone can pull it up. He said our new logo will be a basketball with a claw in it. He also described the new jerseys as similar to the current ones but with a smaller font. Said the away jerseys are black and gold and the home jerseys are white and red if im not mistaken.

Eh.. still don't believe it.

No way they would just drop the new logo randomly on a Friday afternoon. They would have a special unveiling with balloons and Drake. Drake himself said we will be floored by the rebrand. I'm standing pat and still believe this is all part of the "We The North" marketing. Give me my gold medal and all the internetz when the Raptors confirm it.

The logo posted on facebook is to make fun the nets...Note the words "our battle cry , our shield" It is not the re-brand if anything we will have a white claw with a snow effect like on raptors.com

Again this logo is just a white canvas. A proper colour scheme will probably be added.
