New Raptors Logo, Four Colours Revealed (UPDATE P 28)

This really isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. I'm definitely okay with the new logo.

I don't know why people here think the Raptors have benefited so much from Drake. The reason they are a good organiztion is 100% because of Masai and Tim, not Drake. To this date Drake hasn't really done anything for the Raptors.

Its funny because the author put the Nets alternate logo next to ours in color and, I gotta be honest....they don't really look all that much alike. The font is different. The ball is different. The use of color is different.

The shape is the same, but as was pointed out earlier, a round logo with the name written in the circle is not exactly something new.

I will say it again...if they hadn't released it in black and white, I don't think anyone would feel like it was ripping off the Nets.

They tried to do some sort of slow reveal and it just completely backfired. lol
People don't want to see rough drafts before they see the end result. They created a lot of buzz but it could have been more positive if they released the cool(u)r version to begin with.

They went from black and white. To Silver and Red. And then released the gold, red, black, silver versions.

Sure...but the big mistake was revealing it in black and white, which made it look pretty much identical to the Nets logo.

Lazy. Not creative. It almost feels like we lost to the Nets last year so why not take their logo and hope we win a playoff round with their logo being our lucky charm

Red is such a HUGE part of our franchise, it needs to stay primary.

I love the idea of having gold and black so if thats the alternative, i think that is pretty cool. white with red and silver accents at home, black with gold accents for away. The first in the league to implement such an idea, usually, teams only have 3 main colours.

Something like this for home and away is fine, this shade of gold is also MUCH MUCH better

The problem is the design of the logo itself, I'm fine with going for simplicity, but the mascot should be somewhere in the logo, just like like the Bulls.

I might be biased (my username) but the Raptor is loved by many fans, look at how well our throwbacks are doing.

Yeah but now you a have a team with the same scheme and "shield" type as the Nets. Common scheme I guarantee the Raps pick up more casual fans that would just simply unite because leaf fans are simple people. Lol
