He looked pretty damn good to me. Him and Durant are the only guys on OKC to worry about offensively and they hung in there the whole game with Durant out the 2nd half. I'd say Westbrook looked awesome. He may have not been as efficient as he could be but what is the alternative... watch Reggie Jackson dribble for 15 seconds and brick a jumper? Seems like Westbrook can get the rim whenever he feels like it and he can hit really REALLY tough shots. I don't know about GOATness but he's pretty damn good.

And this is also completely reasonable. Good game last night guys, sorry this went off the rails. GOATbrook will be back :P.

I do think Curry would get Durant better shots. Westbrook receives the perception that he sometimes freezes Durant out, but as a whole, the difference between a KD/Curry and KD/Westbrook offense would probably be a wash. I'd sure like to see it (in OKC) though.

Fixed that for you! :D

Booo.

Oh, and thanks much for that video. As much as I'm a Curry homer, I didn't follow him much (or basketball in general) those years outside of We Believe and the subsequent disappointment.

I knew there was one game Curry was held scoreless-- but had no idea that he practically won the game without making a single shot just by his mere presence. And I'm not at all surprised.

Yeah, in all my years of basketball that was one of the weirdest/funniest/coolest things I ever saw in a game!

Not. The. Clippers. I am disappoint. Griffin and Paul are just so patently unlikeable. As is Harden for me to some extent. Those are the only players I crap on (I'm kind of over Griffin). And maybe Kyrie a little for being a giant ball hog and somehow managing to freeze out the proba-GOAT 3-point shooter on Team USA.

I find Westbrook endearing though. Probably because he's fun albeit flawed, and because GSW has figured out how to limit him somewhat. Maybe also because he looks like a ninja turtle.

And Curry's refusal to chuck in those situations, despite his eventual MVP candidate talent, leading to a blowout win for his team is the very essence of Curry.

Sorry.....honestly, we had one dude troll last season, but most GSW fans are cool. To be honest, you've gone up my list of solid posters on here, and I know a bunch of trade board guys who are awesome as well. A few OKC fans on the GB are miserable too admittedly, it was just a bad experience I suppose.

I do find Curry and Klay really likeable on court and off though, and like Bogut too (partially just b/c of the Aussie factor and Adams being a New Zealander, different countries but similar part of the world). Can't stand Houston, they're the only team who I'd frankly root for any east team over.

Was it a Harrison Barnes uberhomer? We have a few of those and they're insufferable. If the one you're talking about is who I think, he's since been banned.

I love Bogs. Less so Adams probably because I'm experiencing how opposing teams feel about Bogut's play. Haha don't let a Kiwi or Aussie catch you saying that they're similar. They talk crap about each other all the time.

You're after my own heart about Houston. Harden, Beverly, ugh. I'm kind of meh on Dwight though. He's a bit too goofy to bring much ire from me.

I also have to say, I've always liked OKC. Not when we're playing of course, but they're one of the teams that I feel no lasting animosity against after a game, kind of like the Spurs. It's just basketball purity. And I think the teams feel that way about each other, too.

Yep, I agree, I'd hate Adams if he were on any other team, he's exactly THAT guy! And I've always felt the same about GSW, just fans like the guy in that thread...... :banghead:

Oh that guy was also banned. Too cray even for our own forum.

Also, I just noticed. Nice And1 to post percentage. In comparison, I'm a chucker.

youre not trying to compare players at all, youre just trying to prop up curry in a thread that isnt about him, which is why people are annoyed. you just called westbrook a stat stuffer and implied he has no imapct, you have no idea what youre talking about and should be treated as such.

pls go away

With no Durant and playing the Lakers i expect a big game from Westbrook.

Ronnie Price is actually a pretty solid defender, will be interesting to see what Westbrook does but i do expect a monster game. lakers are a historically awful defense with no semblance of perimeter defense outside of Price, so technically hes setup to have his best game of the season.

25 on 12 shots so far.

I'm actively rooting for him to eviscerate us for 40 because I am a pro-tanker

This is way too close for my liking.

He's made some questionable decisions in the clutch tonight.

Yep, he certainly did. RJ played really really well luckily, and Kobe may have been OKC's MVP tonight.

Roberson also did a good job guarding and not fouling him a ton. I was certainly impressed by his defense tonight.

He was probably tired playing big minutes in back to back nights, but he settled for too many jumpers in the 2nd half. Still scored 31 on 21 shots with 10 assists and 1 turnover. A win is a win without Durant.

Yeah, when KD is there, he's a great fit for the starters. You could see his offensive "prowess" tonight too though, which is why its tough to play him much otherwise.
