Predictions.?

Post#1 » by Romotodez » Fri Dec 19, 2014 5:32 pm

I will say I think we are playing the MVP this week. He will be the best Qb we have played all season IMO. I don't think Hilton will play, but if he does he won't be 100 percent. They have a guy named Moncrief that has been coming on lately . Defensively I think they are much better than their numbers suggest. I do think they can be ran on, but that brings Murray into question. I think he plays but will not be as affective. With these two teams playing once ever 4 yrs, I think the team that prepares the best will win. I know we have to win and they want to win. We have handled the pressure so far and we are at home. We are suppose to win this one.

Honestly ....I think the Colts having made the playoffs will make all the difference.

The knock on the Colts this year is that they sometimes play uninspired football. You would think that is not going to get fixed with a banged up team that has already clinched.

Then again, this is the Cowboys at home where they can be unpredictable as well.

But I don't think they messed around at all on Sunday. All business.

Cowboys 34
Colts 24

...now lets see what the walking reality break has to say.

Key injuries make this hard to predict, but since I think Dallas can make up for missing Murray easier than the Colts can TY I'll call a Dallas win.

I will predict RGIII has a great game beating the Eagles getting Skin fans all giddy that their savior is back then only to disappoint them a week later.

Just realized it's a National game. Were getting Phil Simms and Jim Nantz ...I have no problem with that.

As long as it's not Aikman and Joe Buck. They have become just unbearable lately.

Boy, I disagree with that. Yes, Randle has run well when called upon this year and yes we have a great OL, but I recall what we dealt with in hte past when Murray has been hurt. Much bigger loss to me than TY being out. 25 plus touches a game to like 6 or 7? Now, it's possible in any given week that Randle/Dunbar go for 200 yards, but I still think the loss is just huge. Without Murray I don't think we are over .500 this year. He has been by far our best offensive player IMO

Randle had 3 games with over 10 carries (all last year of course). YPC: 1.5, 3.4, 1.9.
Different season, different OL and differnt Randle, but I am concerned

I guess I just have more faith in Randle than you. You may recall I'm on record that if we cannot resign Murray I think we go with Randle as the starter next year.

Fact is I'm more concerned that Martin could miss this game. If he's out it may not matter who the RB is.

I'm very worried about Martin also. I've been assuming all along he would be OK to play, but now I am starting to worry since he didn't practice today. Wednesday didn't bother me at all. Thurs I figured - just another day to rest. Missing Friday is usually a big deal. I hope he plays or the combo of MB and Parnell could have a tough time protecting our already injured QBs back...We need a win

Just some on field rehab work for Martin today. He's optimistic he will play.

I hate when I over analyze things, but I'm sitting here thinking about my idea that Randle could do the job as the RB if Murray can't go then I remember how MOST of us fans thought Troy Hambrick would be fine as the starting RB. We all know that didn't work.

If this game was a couple weeks earlier I'd pick the Colts. The Colts pretty much are locked in and Dallas HAS to win. Im taking Dallas just because of that. Bummer as an Eagles fan that Dallas faces a top 10 team that doesnt have much to play for at this point. But backing into the playoffs is wack. Why delay the inevitable early playoff loss for Philly. Dont know the score but Dez wont let this team lose.

Another thing that popped into my mind just now is if Philly loses tomorrow then Murray should just rest.

Dallas would not rest anyone until it's a lock. If Philly goes 1 and 1 and Dallas 0 and 2 ...you will the division.

MAlko , I just don't agree with your delaying the inevitable early plAyoff loss thing. I think both of our teams have had fine seasons and it's a bummer that one of us will likely win 11 games and be left out. That sux. But to talk about an early playoff loss , I just can't fathom. Do I think Dallas or Philly could go in GB or Seattle and win- probably not but I think you are selling both your team and mine short. Sure - both could lose to any of the final 6 but we both can cause damage as well. I'm just saying stranger things have happened.

That's a tall order for both GB & Seattle to win out. If we just take care of our business, we won't need to worry about playing at GB or Seattle. I slip up and its on the road for the both of them.

I have a feeling that RGknee might end up in Houston next year.

If doctors clear Murray to play, he will play and there will be no stopping him. So much on the line, a contract year and the over hanging reputation of always being a hurt Running back I'm sure is a huge monkey he wants to get off his back. Remember Emmitt with a broken collar bone vs. the giants? If Murray plays, I expect him to have a huge day, though I personally would prefer him to rest. I mean Christ guys, we been pounding our chests all year over our very good O-line this year. If our O-line is as good as we think it is, shouldn't Randle and Dunbar be able to have great games behind this O-line? Or is our O-line so over rated or is Murray just so awesome that he should be the league MVP?

I don't think it would suck at all if we won the division and the Egals got knocked out. Icing on the cake for me. Philly trophy case collecting dust pleases me.
