I was watching Blazers vs Spurs last night.

It's saddened me to see a super duper PG like damian lillard on other team and here we have chalmers and cole.

I truly hope that someday we can get rid of all our scrub PGs and start a legit PG who can have a meaningful impact on the court.

This whole 'cole is a better defender than napier' thing isn't even true. when napier was getting consistent minutes , check all the +/- numbers and team defense numbers he's on the floor. and hes a rookie who is a better passer and clearly better shooter.

We were playing well and Shabazz has hit something of a rookie wall.

It's not so much wanting to play napier, I just don't want to see cole on the court. He is a net negative.

Cole is a good defender especailly with speed like Wall on the court. Shabazz will be much better PG but he's learning rookie things at the mo.

Did you watch the game? Cause Cole was literally a negative even if you look at the box score and he didn't contain Wall when it mattered the most. He also gave Wall so much room to shoot jumpers and these days Wall can do that. Then on the other side of the court there is Rio-Cole-Wade who shouldn't be on the court together. I believe Deng was at PF cause no one got a wide open rebound for PP to get after Wall missed. So many **** ups but it was close considering we didn't have Bosh. The Wiz though played pretty bad, they only hit 3 3's as well.

Shabazz had a good game in Brooklyn and a good game just like Cole the next (both sucked, Cole 1 point). Hard to say if Shabazz would even be bad against Wiz today, considering he would have been against Andre. Nobody is asking him to be against Wall. Cole also should not be seeing 30 minutes, and to get out a rookie slump you have to play. With that said Shabazz probably does play he next 2 games, but this holding him out against good teams I hope doesn't last long cause he is not the problem. Especially when we need offense he can actually run it, Cole doesn't.

Sorry, LeBron is the one that made 'Rio and Cole competent PG's....by themselves, they aren't very good at all. We could see that even when LBJ was here....so nothing about this shocks me.

The main problem with them is not making open shots, there's nothing LeBron could've done about that. Sure, he also helped creating open shots but they're still getting great looks now, they're just missing them.

In fact, Rio played some of the best ball of his career while Wade was out.

Cole is horrible is correct.

Shabazz doesnt stick out but he isnt better than Cole atm. he still cant shoot and his man D is horrible. Cole needs to stop shooting 3's and concentrate on taking shots he likes. He needs to stop getting the ball thrown to him with the shot clock running down and he needs to learn a better approach to attacking the rim.

As bad as his year is going Shabazz hasnt shown he is better at the position yet. He mainly stands around and stays out of trouble. We do a poor job in general of letting the pg position run the offense and giving the pg options as far as cutters, post ups etc. Pg look bad in our clear the lane for Wade offense. Last game was promising. Bazz will have his chances but he has to be more aggressive and show that he is an important part of our success
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

True, but somebody had to get points with Wade out besides Bosh. Make no mistake, he was hitting his shots then but when it goes, what else are you contributing? In Rio and Cole's case, nothing. They don't have LBJ as a safety blanket anymore....

Well they are role-players and get paid accordingly. You can't expect much more than them hitting open shots and occasionally having a good drive. As I said before though, the reason their percentages are down is not because LeBron is gone, it's just them missing open shots they usually make.

Of course it's always easier when you have three all-stars instead of two.
