PG: Jeff Teague OR Dennis Schröder

SF: DeMarre Carroll

PF: Paul Millsap

C: Al Horford

PG: Patrick Beverley

SG: James Harden

SF: Trevor Ariza

PF: Terrence Jones

C: Dwight Howard

Game Notes:

THIS is our first true test against a powerhouse western conference team. This game is going to show us a lot about how good we really are and how we compare to the power houses of the west. Houston is currently 4th best record in the west which would be tied for 1st in the east. Still not sure whether Teague will be available or not tonight. If we can shoot anything close to how we shot against CLE (which I know is unlikely) then we will be in this to the wire. Should be a really good game and a great gauge factor as to where we really are this year. I'm interested to see Corey Brewer play tonight as well and how he meshes with his new teammates. Good luck tonight fellas, let's go get that W!

Looking forward to it. Had a lil bit of time to heal and rest up since last game.

We continue to run the gauntlet. I'll be extremely impressed if we can go 2-1 over these next (@Houston, @Dallas, vs. LAC). As for tonight, we have to keep them off the foul line: Harden and Dwight probably average more FTs than our entire team.

Good game. I love the Hawks, but the officiating was horrible especially down the stretch.

Looked like a big time rigging job.

I will admit there were a FEW bad calls the whole game but towards the end Howard was just committing stupid fouls he shouldn't be doing.

There were a few on both ends, but to call the end of the game horrendous officiating when Howard was shoving guys in the back into Jason Terry or randomly shoving Pero out of the air for no reason...just because they complained about it doesn't mean it wasn't the right call.

Holy Cow!!!

Are opposing fans accusing the refs of bias TOWARDS Us?!?!?

Are we getting the benefit of the doubt on the road?!?

I guess we really HAVE arrived!

Been waiting 19 seasons to be relevant....

Was it worth it....Ummm. No.

But still SUPER stoked to be a proven, elite top team (Powerhouse?) in our conference.

Howard wasn't pushing anyone. He was just slightly leaning his arm towards the guys. Those calls never happen at the end of games. Harden got hammered on a damn important drive and nothing happenned. Right after that the Jet's And 1 did not count because of that "push" by Howard. Not to mention all the stupid stuff Antic got throughout the whole damn game.
And then the killer. I've never seen a travelling call in the last few minutes of games. That's ridiculous. And the best is yet to come...It wasn't even a damn travel. Terry never changed pivots. Clear play, but yeah let's just call a travel, so our rigjob doesn't get in danger. No damn calls for the Rockets at all and the Hawks were getting sent to the line for the slightes stuff. And Milsap travelled right after Terry did(he didnt), so if you all it one way then call it both ways.

And yeah let's give Howard 2 fts when the Rockets are down 7 with 50 seconds to go. People will think we called it fair then.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
