We have had a terrible front office and have never gotten one of those said trees they grow on.

If we somehow get Okafor or Mudiay we hit a home run. They are both franchise level players. Okafor might be the most skilled center the day he steps on the court in the NBA. He has his short comings but will improve with coaching and time in those areas(defense and rebounding). Mudiay will be a terror on the court. Think of a John Wall type of player. He needs to improve his jumper and his decision making running the point but with him as well they will both imrpove with time and coaching.

I guess this is one of those draft where you're good with either of the three. Overall I feel that Towns will be the best out of the three, but he will take at-lease 3 years. But I really feel that Johnson is our missing piece for now and later.

Imagin

Dragic
Shump
Johnson
Melo
Gasol

That's a team that would be hard to keep up with and our defense would be very good

One of okafor or towns will be a bust I'd rather get the point guard when's the last time a pg was selected so early and didn't produce?

Mudiay will be solid in the Triangle. I don't think he has John Walls overall speed and athleticism though.

The Knicks need multiple pieces. Knicks need to draft best player available.

Okafor.... look at Anthony Davis's impact for any doubts!

Okafor all the way. Centers still impact this game. If he is truly a franchise center then you go in with the center.

BTW, stop dreaming of Gasol. Pretty much next to impossible to get him.

bust? based on what?

point guards are also a dime a dozen, there's about 3 all star caliber free agents this year, and 3 next. theres's 1 impact center this year, none next year

Wut? That's like saying the Knicks should trade for Al Jefferson cause look at what Lamarcus Aldridge did for the Blazers (as in one has nothing to do with the other). If you think Okafor is like Anthony Davis, you've either not seen Okafor or Davis (or both) play one bit.

I feel like a lot of big men that are selected early don't live up to there potential.

Well maybe he shouldn't have said "feeling" but historically he's correct. Typically one of the top three picks are a bust and most of the times it's a big. I happen to think the player most likely is Okofor though. Actually I think they're all gonna be good. Where any will be bad is more about whose gonna be good in terms of being dominant statistically and which is gonna help you win titles. All have room to grow in terms of intangibles.

I wish Mudiay played a year for Larry Brown instead of that crap league in China.

Please get a guy who can at least be a plus defender. We don't need offensive production only. Mudiay has superior defensive upside as a prospect and seems like the perfect fit for what we need

Its not even a debate--it would be Okafor. But I would NOT be playing him @ C--Id want a shot blocking rim protector. Ok4 is a big 4--can he nibble at 5 of course but the way Id play is a pure 5 with ok4 at 4 and if Melo is here move him back to 3.

Wait so it's not even debatable yet you wanna draft Okofor and put him outta positionat PF? Draft Towns and you can play him at either spot, with any big we pick up in free agency.

I have been imaging a Monroe Harris Anthony front line with Towns Aldrich and Early off the bench.
