Will most likely, sadly, be a close game but I see the Kings pulling this one out. Cousins you can tell has had enough and I trust he's been running like hell to get back in game shape. I'd like to see BMac on Kobe for a majority of the time cuz he did a great job on him last time. Hopefully Ray Mac gets some burn and itll be nice to have Casspis energy out there again if he indeed is back.

Have to say one thing, this team is looking like they are playing that more free style Vivek wanted them to play. I love seeing Cousins unchained.

When Cousins leaves the floor, this team is average. When Cousins and Gay leave the floor this team is hopeless. The team was rolling and as soon as the bench came in on came the breaks. This team misses Casspi big time, but I guess Williams has to be showcased. Hopefully that's what it is at least.

Also, regardless of how they want the team to play they need to run at a controlled rate. This team as it sits doesn't have the athletes to play in a game where 90 shots are taken by any team.

I noticed that nifty steal and up the floor behind the back pass into the finish. Probably the highlight of the game. Not bad in 5 minutes of game time. I also didn't notice a guard getting to the rim every single time with zero resistance. Other than that, no, guess not. :wink:

Compared to Malone, Corbin doesn't call timeouts as frequently.

Not too sure what to think about it.

I wonder if Corbin lets the players decide what kind of pick and roll defense they want to play. Cousins was doubling in it, JT is playing his usual back off and give the ball handler an open look, and Landry is just kind of going sideways into the ball handler. So far they've all had their drawbacks and Cousins showing way out is letting the Lakers gobble up every board in sight.

Tell that to Derek Fisher. As long as you play defense, get the ball where it needs to go, and stay out of the way you have a great PG for the main talent this team has on hand.

Huh? Ray McCallum isn't doing any of those things, and neither did Fisher for the last several seasons of his career.

Yeah he is. And who compared him to Fisher in his last several seasons? Did you not watch when he came in shortly after I posted that? Yeah, that's called not just good, but top notch on ball defense. I'd figure anyone that's watched this team over the last 8 years would know it when they saw it because we haven't seen much of it for about that long if not more. :lol:

I'd rather not notice him than blatantly notice Sessions. I do agree though that Ray didn't distinguish himself and that jumper needs to be better. He does need work, no doubt. I don't know definitively if he is long term either, but I can't stand Sessions and Ray is young and hopefully we will see what he has either way

Do we want Deron Williams?
