Last sight I saw something happen that could only be done by Norwegians. My mate and I went had a few beers at the local watering hole and when it closed we and plenty of others left. While my mate was on the phone talking to someone I stood beside him and watched the others waiting for the taxis etc. A police car was driving by and there was this one bloke yelling profanities at the officers in the car. The officers turned the car basically on the spot, got out of the car and requested the guy to come over to the police car. As I was watching the whole incident a part of me was kinda hoping to see an outbreak of police brutality or something as a late night drinking entertainment. So they talk to the guy for a couple of minutes and eventually let him go. And then they shake hands. So much for being a tough guy. That wasn't the end, though. The guy actually asked the cops whether they could drive him home.

Keeping it real Norway style.

Ok, I had the worst christmas last year, I bought my GF gift with her, then I bought her mother gift (golden earrings) 'cause she was out of money and promised to pay me after. Don't need to tell you she gave nothing to me and 15 days later she dumped me and travelled to Chile. True story, sadly...

At least 2 years ago she gave me a Rubio jersey.

What a bitch. Sorry to read that. Too bad the Wolves haven't been able to cheer you up, either.

R.I.P. Joe Cocker. I haven't been too familiar with him aside from his most famous songs but that voice will certainly be missed. I think I'm gonna listen to some of his songs tonight.

I'm guessing this isn't the place to ask, but it's probably better than making a new thread: does anyone know if timberwolves practises are open to the public? Is there anyway to get into them, short of being 7 foot and Serbian? My family and I are driving down and will be staying about a week to watch them play Utah and Sacremento

They are closed to the public

if you lie and say you're a HS coach, you can go watch them in next year's camp in Mankato. It's the only time of the year where you can watch the entire team play at once.

I discovered a bunch of gray/white hairs yesterday. I haven't even turned 28. That's not supposed to happen yet :blank:

Soooo with the recent Patriots deflated balls controversy how do you think they will be punished? Normally I wouldn't give a ****, but I will get salty when they are ultimately let off with a slap on the wrist while the wolves future was raped in the Joe Smith contract debacle.

Yea different circumstances (contract vs cheating in a playoff game) and different leagues but still, I'm pissed when it comes to teams not getting punished like us.

i haven't watched the superbowl in years, but i think i might be willing to make an exception just this one time. the odd thing is i don't care much for either of those two teams. though i will be reluctantly cheering for the seahawks. if you don't understand why, just look at this picture.
