To keep it simple we are the 3 seed and will play the loser of GB/DET. Only way around this is a rare GB/DET tie and or both Seattle and Arizona losing.
The funny thing is if both Seattle and Arizona lose we move to the 2 seed regardless if we win or not. Only thing a win does for us is the outside chance of the 1 seed. For this to happen we need all of the above to happen.
good thing about playing the Cards 1st.

If we don't get a bye, I hope we get a rematch at home with Arizona and then are able to play Detroit in the divisional.

Impossible with seeding. We can't play the cards until NFC champ game unless we get #2 seed and they beat #4 seed and we could play cards in divisional

Re: good thing about playing the Cards 1st.
well I was thinking cards, since all I was reading on other threads was we were gonna play the cards.
Now I am cool playing the lions since they have had a nice little spree of being unable to score TDs. Still rather play the harder Defense than a well oiled offense. Our team loses its philosophy against the better offenses.
Think it would be awesome for the Hawks & Cards to lose, although kinda unlikely, but still possible actually.
As far as the #4 seed. I predict if the Falcons somehow sneak into the playoffs. They upset someone in the 1st week of the playoffs! Which will fuel peoples hatred of a less than 500 team being in the playoffs.
I want to avoid playing the pack as long as possible. if there is a scenario of us getting a bye & the pack & the Hawks playing each other before getting to us. That would be my dream scenario.

I kinda like the scenario
1. GB
2. Ari
3. Cowboys
4. wouldn't matter who
5. Sea
6. Lions
That would mean the GB & the Hawks would play each other before the Championship game.
Cowboys would have to play the Lions then the Cards, before a championship game.

Dude, that scenario would be INCREDIBLE for your Boys. At home vs the Lions then at AZ round two. Making the NFC Championship game would be a lock. For Dallas to move on from there wouldnt be impossible. Doubtful yes, but there arent any INCREDIBLE teams this year. But if it works out the other way Detriot... at Seattle... at GB that would be very very difficult..

A route to the NFC Championship avoiding Seattle and/or Green Bay till then is what I am hoping and looking for.

A lock? I don't know about that...
