This. One of a few annoying things about this new layout. Not a fan

Will we have an automatic update for this redesign in the RealGM mobile app? I'm getting error messages when opening it.

First thoughts are this is a disaster

1. Not a fan of the top Nav bar. I understand why it is there for mobile users, but if there would be a setting we could use to disable it, like an option, that would be great. Maybe even after a certain amount of time it auto-disappears. A good idea if its a must to have is to make it like the address/tool bar on Google Chrome for android. You go to a page, its at the top, you scroll down, it disappears, fast scroll up and it re-appears!

2. Page counts on forum threads is a must!!!

Other than those 2 issues, i think everything is fine (so far). Might take a bit to get used to, but good job on re-inventing the site!

why can't this site figure out how to sync the desktop version to the mobile version? I've been on multiple sites where my username keeps me at the same point in forum discussions whether I'm using a desktop or mobile. this site keeps your desktop at one point and your mobile at another.

Can you guys PLEASE have an option so that those who liked the previous layout can use that layout (especially on a Computer)? We ought to be able to choose which one we prefer so that both sides win.

Please?

Here try fixing this now for starters....everytime I post, I get this wonderful error message....

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Out of range value for column 'item_id' at row 1 [1264]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

And don't try to tell me it is me...cause my setup works everywhere else...

Yer this is REALLY bad. Unless you can set it to click the link have it take you to the first unread post of the thread, not having the page numbers is a massive issue. Please fix!!

We are still working out a few kinks. Sorry about the error messages.

Sofia wrote:Good job guys.

The one thing I don't like so far is when browsing on a mobile, I have to scroll back to the top of the page to follow a link back to the forum ie scroll to top to click on a link to go back to trades and transactions when I want read another thread.

The link at the bottom is for index only. If I want to go to the index, I can just tap the grey logo that follows you in the white bar at top of the screen.

Navigation would be easier if the index link was changed to include the sub forum you're currently on.

Also had a few SQL errors but nothing major.

In addition to the crap layout, i didnt get a notification when my post was just quoted. Im getting weird error messages every time i turn around, and i have no idea what the hell happened the couple times i tried to and1 a post, seems like it didnt take

so yea, pretty much a trainwreck. Disappointing that it appears browsing this site might have suddenly become highly frustrating for no good reason whatsoever

and where are the post counts and and1 totals

Thank you for getting out of 2008. Still the logo looks bad and the responsive design isn't my cup of tea. I almost completely browse realgm on my phone so losing a lot of that precious space to read large posts sucks.

Quick reply is back. Notifications are back in some form, but are a work in progress before they are competently back to normal.

The basketball wiretap headlines were already in that same space. We cut the width in half and added a rotating wiretap box with the other sports.
