Well you can curse and get in the refs face all night apparently, but if you slightly slap the basket, you need to get a tech!

The refs were not very good. Blake is a bully. Drives to the lane and tries to get the call. he started to get ti and then they swallowed that whistle. Not sure how he did not get a T called on him when he was yelling at the refs about the no call. Then the one where he slapped the backboard to cause it to move and the shot not to fall, that should have been a call,

Good comeback but an extremely close game. I know Al is open on those 3's but they just look like a bad shot. He did redeem himself on the last play.

Gotta love Kyle. Out jumped Barnes, probably due to the fact that he was pissed they were reaching in and he didn't get a call.

Thank god for Teague being back. We lose this game if its Schroder down the stretch. I don't know if he was pressing because he was facing Cp3 or because Teague was back and wanted to out perform him, but he was downright bad tonight. But a win is a win...

Both had an off night shooting. Dennis has a habit of trying to make some flashy passes. he is predicting where people are going to cut yet they aren't there.

Wow, the Clippers are really annoying with their constant flopping and whining towards the refs despite getting favorable calls. We just went 5-0 during a stretch of Chicago, At Cleveland, At Houston, At Dallas, and LAC. Very, very impressive. Go Hawks.

Yeah they both were off shooting but I think if you rewatch this game, Schroder might have been credited with 4 turnovers, but he had more like 6-7.

Teagues 9 points and 6 assist in 23 minutes were huge.

Bulls...Cavaliers...Rockets...Mavericks...Clippers...WHICH OF YALL OTHER TITLE CONTENDERS WANTS SOME OF THESE HAWKS!!!

Ifk if you could tell or not from tv but Phillips was legit packed! I've NEVER seen it this filled before. Usually the top part of Phillips is like a ghost town but that was full too! And everyone jumping aroun standing up in the final seconds was amazing! The Hawks are E-L-I-T-E ladies and gentleman! (I'm still pumped with adrenaline if you can't tell).

If you actually watched the game rather than go off raw stats you know that Teague was a big part of changing the game in a positive manner both halves.

I'm pretty sure no one said that Teague didn't have an impact. I just said they both had a bad shooting night.

I know Dennis was bad, I am just saying that Dennis is very reckless with the ball often. He is predicting that people are going to be doing something when they are not. He feels the need to try and create something when he gets overwhelmed and trapped. That is his fault.

Great win and all, but the 16 offensive rebounds they had is troubling.

Nice win. I just think we got to go for higher % shots down the stretch. I do not like Al hovering around the 3pt line at the end of games ( It happened last night at Dallas as well). Rebounding is still a big problem, well it's been for the last 10-15 years lol. The Clippers GM must be a bit puzzled with this team. Apparently they got everything needed to be really good (Golden State good), but they just don't seem to gel well together. Meanwhile, Merry Christmas everyone and boy what a present have the Hawks been this season!
GO HAWKS.

I don't think Dennis tries to make flashy passes or anticipate, even though he should try to anticipate some things. He simply had a bad night and maybe CP3 being top 3 PG in the league had something to do with it, along with Jordan being a good interior defender as far as protecting the rim.

The most encouraging thing I heard after the game tonight:

We need to get a lot better defensively but in these last few weeks we have shown improvement on the defensive end of the court. It’s probably the thing we point to the most...

We’ve got much, much work to do. We are typical coaches. We want to get better. We are going to stay on them. We are going to keep pushing them.

Bud knows it's only December and there is much to improve on. Hawks have exceeded ALL expectations. But there is till room for improvement.

Indeed! When I talk about a defensive Center to play next to AL, that's the kind of impact I'm looking for. A player to defend, rebound, block shots and do the dirty work.

I still believe we need a player like that in the middle. We've seen Deandre Jordan and Tyson Chandler put up big rebounding numbers and keep their team in the game as a result.

When you are a bad team, you eventually get some good players, and get some talent. Then those players start to play together and they start to build chemistry. After a while, that team starts to mature.

After watching this game, the Hawks have really moved into phase 3 and are developing maturity as individuals and as a team.

Those Joe and Josh teams had talent and good chemistry, but this team, you can really feel the maturity and the quite confidence.

I am saying overall that is what Dennis tries to do, not just this game.
