How do y'all feel about The Manimal?

Interesting piece but in a way I like markeif more and I'm not sure of the fit and contract he's owed. I guess it would depend on what it took to get him. I think he'd fetch a better trade offer from someone else.

Suns getting him would make then pretty much the Nuggets of recent... So no thanks.

Once the Kings and Nets finish their jabbering and complete a trade with Deron Williams going to the Kings, I think the Nets will be more inclined to gut the rest of their roster. We'll probably end up doing a three team trade, where IT goes to a third party, the Nets get an expiring and Miles Plumlee, and Brook Lopez ends up with the Suns.

Nets will probably end up trading Joe Johnson to the Knicks for Amare, lol. Knicks make silly trades, I could see them taking on longer contracts.

No sense in stifling the development of Alex Len. We certainly don't need one of the oft injured Lopez twins.

We need to either get a superstar PF or SF. Nothing less.

Faried is an overrated player. I've always said it. He is no where the talent Markieff Morris is. I remember you guys ripping me for saying that. Only thing Faried is good at is dunking and tip-ins around the basket. An offense can never be ran through him. The man has energy though but that can only take you so far. He's an awesome player to have off the bench, but not a starter. Also, not worth more than 8 mil.

Faried is one of the most overrated players in the NBA at $12.5 million per year. He is like a higher level version of Miles Plumlee.......good energy player but with no definable skill. Can't shoot, just hustles around the court looking for put backs or tip ins. Kieff is so much more skilled than Faried it isn't even funny. The only thing Faried has over Kieff is the really cool nickname 'Manimal' which of course all the kids like.

Would anyone do T.jones and a filler for thomas?

jones in the outer now that Houston told smith he will be starting...

Yeah I would consider it if I was confident that Jones was ever going to be healthy (he has a weird nerve injury so who knows). I know everyone here hates all the goran to houston deals but realistically one of goran, IT, Bledsoe, Green will/should not be back next year so McD should make some type of deal. I wouldn't kill the suns for a DMo and Pels pick for Goran deal. He's an UFA and has a much better chance of leaving for nothing than people think. The suns biggest advantage is they can offer more money but lets be real a true vet max deal is not what we should give to Goran; a similar deal to Bledsoe would be fine but it only take one team to overpay for him to be gone for nothing(see the deal Fry got this year).

Especially, if McD talked with Goran ahead of time and say this:

"Look, Goran, we're going to trade you to Houston for the rest of the season, then in FA, we are going to offer you a max contract and you come back to, us, ok? This way, we improve our team for the long haul and you and EB will be our centerpiece, with Len, Warren, and Kieff as your supporting cast for 2015, with DMo, PJ, Marcus, Ennis, and Zoran as our bench. And then we'll have 3 Lotto 1st Rd picks to build longterm or trade for a top 3 pick or a star, which will set us up nicely for FA in 2016! So you go get your ring with the Rockets this year, then come back and help us get ours in 2016"

He replies with:

"Sounds good to me...see you in June!"

Any positives to Tolliver fellas.? Tony Mitchell is a athletic freak that just has no drive or ambition to succeed in the NBA up to this point.

Him and his agent conned us on his Channing Frye like prowess for a much lower salary. They lauded his 3 point numbers and percentages. We saw neither.

Well you know, other than the fact he shot 39% from 3 while here.

It was just all the intangibles of which he has none.

I like Mason quite a bit but Alex is more than 3 years younger, I think I'd rather see what he can become than settle for Mason.
