It's a shame his brother doesn't have even 1/4 the skill that Mason has.

Shame, shame, shame on you. You'd take Mason Plumlee over Len? Tsk, tsk, tsk. :o

That athleticism doe...plus averaging 17 pts & 10 rebounds in his starts.....

I just looked at Masons stats for the last few games and, Wow, pretty impressive. I didn't realize he is balling like that. However, I still wouldn't consider trading Len for him.

Mason Plumlee's ceiling is lower than Len's.

He is Gortat part deux.

Len has potential to put up 15 points via a much more array of moves.
Len's also a better shot blocker, will be a 2-2.5 bpg when given 36 minutes.

Mason Plumlee is playing well but has Len would pass him as soon as Len gets 30+ minutes.

- Cavs; they just lost Varejao for the season, Plumlee maybe a good alternative for them as he just needs to be the big body to crash boards and alter shots.

- Celtics; They are in full rebuild or heading there... Brandon Wright cant be traded until a couple of months though...

- Nuggets; May want out of McGee's contract...

- Nets; 3 of their main guys are on the block...

Celtics board has tossed around IT deals.. For Wright, Bradley or Green... Cavs are looking for Boston to help them get a center- hadn't thought of the Plumlee option..

I have a feeling the major hump over a suns/celtics swap of Thomas and Wright, is Thomas is slightly higher value due to him being locked up for 4 years at 7 million... And producing good numbers.

Wright is expiring...

If both were locked in at 4 years or atleast at multiple years, A trade would be easier as it can be cleaner one for one.
But I have a feeling McD is asking or would ask for an additional asset from celtics.

This shows how trash the offers are from Rockets fans and their trash players offered for Dragic.

All the names they threw out to obtain Dragic, Morey is looking at giving them away to clear space.

Let's throw a 2059 2nd round pick and snag him.

I second that. Trade IT for a somewhat decent big, resign dragic long term. Call it a day!

I'd bring in Tarik Black and maybe dump Randolph.

I think its kinda sad that there are these teams like the Cavs who are desperate for a big and are looking at options like Timofey Mozgov, Samuel Dalembert, Kousta Koufos etc while not a single team has interest in the younger Miles Plumlee

Shows you how bad Plumlee really is and his rep around the NBA.

I'd take Capela and stash him in the D-league for this season and next.

Give them a 2nd rounder.

Morey is the league's biggest Scrooge in terms of trade. He only trades if he clearly wins, McD has been a stingy dealer also but he tends to also go for value... I don't see both will ever agree on a trade... It'll be a miracle or close to it.

Cavs are trying to get Wright in a 3 team trade, maybe we can get in on that and get Wright instead and send Plumlee to Cleveland.

It didn't occur to you that all those three options have a far greater experience in this league than Plumlee? Dalambert with 13 seasons, Mozgov with 5 seasons, Koufos with 7 seasons, and Plumlee with 2 seasons (which is more like 1). Cavs want to win now, they don't care about age. When playoffs come, it's perfectly normal to want all those three guys before Plumlee.

He patiently played four years in college (being a backup most of the time), finally got his chance in the NBA as a 24, didn't get any minutes in his rookie season, and finally got a chance to fulfill his dream when he got to Phoenix, where he had a very nice season on a very solid team. It's nice when a guy who nobody expected to do anything or become anything in this league, proved doubters wrong.

But i get it. Let's all hate this perfectly solid backup center, because... Because someone has to be hated (for some reason). I think it's sad how you dedicate a full post just to show how much you hate him.

Yes I'm a "hater".

That word is literally almost exclusively used by illiterate folks. Just giving you a heads up.

And no Plumlee hasn't been a perfect backup center. The minute he comes into the game, guys like Tyson Chandler among others start going off scoring points.

Remember when you disagreed with me about Len starting over Plumlee? You said Len should ride the bench this season so not to destroy Plumlee's confidence..lmao I'm glad Hornacek isn't that stupid.

I never used a word "hater" in my post. So you're WRONG there.

I never said anything about Plumlee's confidence, it was the other poster. I said Suns should go easy with Len, until the medical staff says it's ok to gradually increase his minutes (knowing his injury history). So you're WRONG there too.

If Plumlee stays, we should all want him to improve his confidence so the Suns are better off that way... So let's all not hate him as long as he wears the purple and orange.

In any case he rebounds fine and blocks some shots too, he just needs to stop thinking about scoring completely.... Unless it's a wide open dunk.

If suns can't get Wright, I'd ring Hornets...

I'm too lazy to look it up but it might have been me as I did say something along those lines. If so though, it's being somewhat misconstrued here. I do believe that Plumlee's confidence was at risk but I wouldn't have kept Len out of the starting lineup solely for that reason. I think I just suggested it might be part of what's going on. It's so hard to sit in front of a TV or in the stands and know what's really going on every day with these guys. IMO, it's quite acceptable to say I think this player should start but it's over the top to tear the coach apart when he's the only one who really knows what's going on.
