Merry Christmas from YOUR Washington Wizards. Was a treat to watch them on a national ESPN broadcast, albeit against a not-very-good Knicks squad. Without further ado, here are the nominees for YOUR Washington Wizards player of the game:

We know who was POTG.

I voted total team win.
--Humphries, Nene, and Butler had John Wall's back. None of the team came off the bench.
--Everyone kept their intensity up even after the referees seemed to try to take them out of the game.

Great game on the biggest stage by John Wall, after a couple tough losses.

and I just have to say.. RASUUUUUUUUUUUUUAL.. nice to see him back.
And Hump.. I think he was happy to be back in his old stop. Nice to see the mid range hitting again.
And nice to see Nene hitting his shots as well.

Interesting that Webster didn't make it back yet after they said it would be this week. This team is so different then they used to be. Player seem to never come back until they are ready.

The best part of Wall's game today

He was slicing through the defense and getting to the bucket at will, or finding the man with the pass when the d collapsed on him.

And then, old Prof. Miller must have been teaching him some moves, he scored at least twice off sweet post ups.

He looked like the complete package. Absolutely unstoppable.

Oh, and on those drives, last season and earlier in this season he was missing a lot of them. He has obviously worked on his touch.
