agreed. something is very wrong if you lose to a d league team. That should never happen, you should win by superior talent alone, which the magic clearly do not have.

We're pretty much a d league to as well.

maybe that's because other two options are kinda same and they're mid-season firings. not the best kind of poll.

Why do the magic play Fry instead of Harris at the 4 and use a real 3-D SF. Magic look like they are the perfect small ball team. Raptor fan but really like the talent in Orlando.

Its the only option in which he doesn't get fired, so you can assume that people who don't want him fired yet chose that option, without necessarily agreeing that hes doing a "great job".

I personally think that if this team has turned on JV, then this is more reason to NOT fire him right now. We do not want to develop a team culture that as soon as we get to some adversity, we cry and someone will get fired or traded. That's no way to operate. Our players are paid professionals, they need to learn that there will be times when they don't necessarily agree with the coach, but they still need to turn up and be ready and give 100%.

The moment this team starts making decisions based on the demands of sulking players is the true moment we lose this team.

Do you feel better now you have that out of your system.

This poll was created after the first game.

There is one option which was fire his arse now (early in the season)

Wait and see how he goes, if no good then fire him (WHICH IS WHAT STAGE WE'RE AT NOW SURELY)

Or keep him.

Yes not worded the best but I'd like to think for the 109 people who voted that it made a little sense to them.

"OFF WITH HIS HEAD"

nevermind....they're doing well right now against Boston..... i'll wait till the next half.... or the next game....

just kidding.... I'm down for giving him a chance for the season and see how things pan out. I think there is just a lot of shuffle going on and the best combination will be on the floor by the time the second half of the season rolls around. hopefully we'll have Gordon back and running on all cylinders.

Losing sucks.... but ain't no use pulling the fire alarm quite yet.... unless you were expecting us to be contenders this season... hahaha

Strong rotations for three quarters. Put Fourier in late in the 4th which coincided wth a 7-2 run for Orlando to close out a win. Clear coaching genius for Vaughn; needs an insta-extension to his contract! (sarcasm).

FYI.....Fox Sports Florida is replaying last nights game @ 8:00. I am going to watch just to confirm my convictions regarding JV.
Waiting for the Championship parade at Lake Eola!

Guys,

No matter what happens, I do not think they will not make a change in the middle of the season.

Whether Jacque Vaughn returns depends on how they do the rest of the way.

If you like Jcque Vaughn or want him gone, nothing is going to happen in the middle of the season.

I've been saying this all along. The only way he would get fired mid season by doing something bad enough to put a huge media spotlight on us which is very unlikely.

I don't think he "deserves" to get fired... The team overall this season has played relatively well and around the projected record as most thought it would be at this point. To be honest, JV has made questionable decisions but he seems to be sticking to a plan; WHILE playing the guys most who deserve to play (Elfrid and Quinn getting the start, Willie Green has been removed from the rotation. AND Channing Frye is coming off the bench). The teams struggles are just coming from inexperience from Players/Coach, injuries, and lack of depth. The team development wise is right where it should be...

Has anybody mentioned Mark Jackson? He's on TV now after being fired by the Warriors. He'd be a good option, after JV is canned this summer.

Mark Jackson isn't a good coach, he's a good motivational speaker. Cut it out.

This board loves to blame everything on JV, but overlook that our team just isn't that good on a consistent basis.

We have a lot of good young talent, but they are extremely inconsistent at this point in their development.

People want to blame the recent Brooklyn loss on JV and not the terrible shooting by the team. GTFOH

You GTFO! You know it and I know it, JV is a terrible coach. I'm tired of people defending the guy. And all of you are fools when you say Jackson, Skiles, McMillian, Hollins and others are not good coaches. JV is the one who is not a good coach.
