Eh, I think the foundation is beyond repair. It was a horrible blueprint - go for size, hustle, energy, character, athleticism.

And completely ignore skill especially on the offensive end.

Cho bombed this thing.

A complete makeover is definitely in order.

I honestly think Vonleh is going to make or break Cho. Hes either going to be a pretty damn good player or a huge, huge bust. Personally I don't know what to think of him right now. But that Detroit pick was a lottery ticket, and Cho better pray it pays dividends or were going to be riding this for the next 5 years.

Because of the Cavs luck, we might miss out on Mudiay.

Mudiay for Vonleh.

What about your boy Kemba? All hypotheticals at this point, but Mudiay is going to be a beast. He reminds me of Westbrook. Probably won't be as good, but hes athletically gifted as hell.

Sadly, I'm not sure we are good enough to keep up with the treadmill.

I dont think Vonleh will make or break Cho, who else was he supposed to pick? Nik was picked ahead of him, McDermott? He has been a mess He was clearly the best prospect still available

Unfortunately I think were heading right towards picking in the 10 - 12 range. Which is nothing, garbage. Were going to end up being the Jazz of the east if we aren't careful. Which is ironic considering we try to trade or sign all of their players.

I agree. In my opinion Cho has been slaughtered this year. Vonleh is but one piece of his blueprint.

I'm still hopeful that things would look a lot different if we didn't have Al. I still believe in the talent in our young players. The defense/energy blueprint would have a better chance of working if we weren't dragging around 300 pounds of dead weight at the most important defensive position. Our front office needs to own up to the fact that this isn't working and we need to move on. I'm fully expecting us to resign him for something like 50 million over 3 years though. This is a depressing time to be a Charlotte fan.

If we resign Jefferson period Im going to lose it. Let alone 3 years 50 million. Thats more than we initially signed him for. I don't like Jefferson, and I don't like Biyombo. We need to sign an athletic starting center with at least some kind of offensive game.

I want Mason Plumlee.

I will too but I'm already mentally preparing for it lol. Our front office and coach view him as a superstar and they refuse to give up on the win-now mentality. The cap is also increasing with the new tv deal. It is a perfect storm for something atrocious to happen.

:o  This game is exactly what I expected. We are still a second tier team and are not going to beat the Western Conference anytime soon. Even as bad as we are now we should get better and will probably make the 7th or 8th seed in the East. As to the comments made about AL,Cho, Lance ,and Vonleh here is my take:
AL...unless he blows up...We probably will wait until next year to trade him. The only way he is extended is if we make 2nd round.
Cho..unless he chooses to leave....He's here for next season.
Lance.....start him with Kemba and we will lose and he will be traded.....play him as backup point or second team and we win..
Vonleh....poster is right that it was a no brainer picking him. He's very green and needs time to develop. Also he's not a bust.

Lance had a triple double with elite defense against OKC last year.

The best part of the game besides it ending was that Vonleh got into the game.
