no chance.

O'Neal is done from being a mentor... He wants a chance to win a ring. Mavs get him.
Good for suns too.

If Smith wasn't traded, Monroe for Suns 2015 pick would if made sense... as pistons were looking for a first pick.

Did anyone read that twitter exchange between Tolliver and a fan.

The fan called Tolliver a terrible player going to a terrible team...

Tolliver responds by saying, it's true and he is probably one of the worst players of all time but he is real good at tricking GMs into paying him money... And said bless you to the fan.

Wow he just earned about a gazillion points from me then. Very classy and down to earth.

Good luck in Detroit Tolliver, hope you get rotation minutes.

Good luck to Tolliver in Detroit. Nice guy, but just never worked out for him here.

He will forever best be known by Michael Beasley rubbing his knee very sexual like while on the Wolves. There were moments this season I forgot he was even on our roster.

Yup and that fan is an idiot, here's his response instead of apologizing.

His last coach raved about how much he liked the guy and how valuable he was on the court and in the locker room. I have to believe his failure with us was mostly a poor fit between our need and his ability. We really needed a stretch 4 or a traditional 4 and that's not Tolliver. He'll probably fit in well with Detroit and though I won't miss him on the court, I will miss the fact he was one of the few cheerleaders on our bench this season. A lot of dour faces so far although reducing the rotation has seemed to help a bit these past several games.

Tolly leaves on the same terms as Ish Smith in my mind. It's a shame he's gone and he got a lot of unnecessary hate. In another world I could see Tolly working fantastically in the Suns' offense but it just wasn't to be this time round.

There was just never a time when he was on the court when one of Marcus, Tuck, TJ or even Shav wouldn't have worked better.

Couldve worked in our system, if his release was alot quicker and higher. Frye worked well for us because he had a very high release... Tolliver shoots from his chest and takes more time therefore defences can close out quicker.

Oh well, thanks Tolly.

His shot seemed to be coming around, it was EVERY other aspect of his game that was a poor fit. His athletic prowess was an absolute lie, and there was almost no basketball I.q. No real defense to speak of... wasn't a good passer, and couldnt fight for a board if his life depended on it. At least Channing was long, a smart player, had defensive fundamentals (not athletic enough but got into good spots), and just a heady player who actually helped a little on the boards and defense. Tolly could help if he was WIDE open for a corner shot... but we have shorter guys on the team in Tucker and Marcus who can come off the bench and do that and play better defense on pf's.

Tarik Black was just waived by Houston to free up space for Smith. We should think about trying to get him.

Yup. Half million in salary is no risk. Kid is averaging 5+ boards in less than 15 minutes. Projects as a double double player with 30 minutes of pt (all theoretical of course, but would be a nice addition).

We are not signing JO. He isn't any better than Len or Plumlee at this point, he wasn't very liked in the locker room the last time he was in Phoenix and he burned all bridges in Boston when McD worked for the Celtics.

Yea not sure why people keep bringing up O'Neal, he isn't coming here. He's probably looking to go to a contender even if we did want him.

Dallas already has him penciled in essentially as their Wright-replacement.

I watched a couple of the games with him in, they don't look so congested. Bet they all feel better without having to play with Josh Smith.
