He has better per 36 numbers than Beal. If he played the same # of mins, he'd put up better stats

Wiz pulled a genius move in trading for ariza/nene/gortat.

they bring the best out of beal/wall.

I'm not going to say either are overrated because they definetly worked hard for this & Wiz & their fans deserve all of their success and more. Hope to see them pull an upset on Heat. They're the team I'm rooting for throughout the playoffs.

But, I really dislike when I see their fans bash Waiters, look you picked first & had your pick at much much easier pick with Beal, someone who we actually wanted, don't see why you feel a need to talk Waiters down.

Save all that taunting for when we meet in the playoffs.

Sure... When you will ACTUALLY make the playoffs.

Your team just came off a 5 year playoff drought, which is, um, bit longer than ours, 2 drafts longer, to be exact... or in your case, 2 #3 overall picks longer.

So I'd really calm myself if I were you.

17.5 ppg / 4 rpg / 4 apg on 44% shooting

Solid numbers. I would be surprised to see the 20 ppg on 45% shooting prediction come to fruition.

Will it be with the Cavs though?

I voted traded. I hope he isn't. I hope we find a way to make him work with Kyrie, but with all this talk about "fit" it's definitely a concern.

For one thing, our "fit" in the sense that Griffin is thinking, isn't really all that terrible. If you have 3 guys on the floor who can hit from distance, you *should* be able to spread the floor and run any number of different offenses.

Because Kyrie and Dion can both knock down jumpers all the way out to the 3pt line, we just need one other guy to hit that minimum of 3. Gee and Deng have 3pt range, but didn't shoot very well. Otoh, Miles, Delly, Hawes, Hawes, and Jack were all viable.

So, the key isn't so much having to play 5 jump shooters so much as it is having a team that knows how to execute an offense led by a PG who knows how to run it. Having two guards who can both drive and shoot should be an advantage.

He will improve but he won't score 20ppg, where's that option?

His stats actually improved under Brown.

Beal would have been the perfect compliment to Kyrie. PERFECT.

...

Lol, certainly not because of him, and if it wasn't for that stretch where Waiters blew up & regained a starting job, he would've declined.

Just like Kyrie did.

I doubt Kyrie would know how to use him.

Another troll job. I see you are going for a ban from this forum. Just to be clear, all of these predictions were made before LBJ announced he was coming back and the Cavs traded for Love. I don't think anyone thought he would average 20 ppg if he was the fourth option on the team.
