Clever. Getting an early start just to ensure the Niners get that higher draft pick? The way the defense has run out of bodies, and the way the offense has played all year, I don't think we have to worry about actually winning this one. Though the Cards are kind of reeling....

If the 49ers lose today they will have the same record as Cleveland, Minnesota, and New Orleans. I am not really sure what tie breakers are out there or what not but it looks as it they lose they would have as low as the 12th pick and as high as the 15th if they lose and Carolina wins then it might even be the 11th pick. if the 49ers win they can have as high as the 16th pick.

Cowboys get a first round bye if the Seahawks lose to the Rams and the 49ers beat the Cardinals.
