I dunno man, trading a guy like Hawes who can be a starter in this league, with shooting range and size, relatively more efficient for a guy who is shooting 48% true shooting doesn't seem like a fair deal to me.

I like Iman, but not enough to give Spencer. Im not even sure if the deal is possible knowing what each of their contracts are. maybe Iman for Farmar, lol.

The question is, is Iman better than nothing? If Hawes is out for the season then nothing is what he'll give us.

Spence and Jamal and our 2016 2nd rounder can yield us a pretty good return.

Shump and Wilson Chandler should do the trick.,
Spence or Shump.

Jamal n 2nd for Wilson.

Deandre just logs tons of minutes and Epke makes up the difference.
risk I'm willing to take.

I wouldn't trade Hawes for Shumpert straight up either, he's not really that good. And he's a SG, which we already have like half a dozen. He could be a nice get if he came really cheap, like straight up for Wilcox or Farmar, but Hawes has more value than that, even if he still hasn't showed it for us.

I wish we could get a Chandler type just for Jamal, but I don't think anyone's interested in giving a starter caliber player for a low 2nd rounder and a 34 year old black hole who's one of the worst defensive players in the league. If they did, I'm pretty sure it'd be done already.

The only time Doc should ever trade for another SG is if he has the length to play SF (Does Shumpert?). Let's face it, Doc loves to play using 3 guards on the court.

looks like Spencer is playing tonight. like i always say, don't pay much attention to BSPN pundits unless actual journalistic outlets publish the same news. sadly in today's world, it only relegates to say, USAtoday, Wallstreet Journal, both LA and NY times, or foreign outlets such as BBC.

I did read from the LA times article that this entire "Hawes out for season" came from non other than Stephen A Smith. I can't believe these punks still even have jobs but knowing BSPN is about ratings and not about its content, its no surprise.
