Get rid of Shaw's crutch

Post#1 » by pickaxe » Mon Dec 29, 2014 8:02 am

Hickson has got to be the laziest, unmotivated, waste of a big's body player I have ever seen. He's probably the calmest guy on the bench. Shaw probably likes to keep it calm with all the heat and have his boy to chat with. This is all logical.

However, this is a team that would like there to be a winning mentality at all times and in the entire culture of the organization. Shaw tossing Hickson back in during the 4th quarter and Hickson treating it like a light jog ain't gonna get it done.

Trade Hickson. Get rid of Shaw's crutch. Make him actually coach.

Maybe the 76ers will take him if a 2nd rounder is included

Trading Hickson is not going to change things, firing Shaw is the only thing that will save this team. If you trade Hickson than you will have Faried playing center and someone like Gee trying to play PF while Shaw is wondering why we are getting worked in the post.

Well, get Scott Hastings in there as assistant coach. Maybe he can harass a little bit about how to rotate the bigs.

Hickson is a crutch though. If what you say is true, Rebel, then wouldn't you want that exposed?

What difference does it make, if Shaw still has a job than our front office is too stupid to realize how bad he is, and making him change his crutch is not going to change that.

Make Hastings the head coach/announcer and lets finish the year out with some entertainment.

C'mon guys....love Hastings but what makes ANYONE think he can be head coach material any better than Shaw did when he was the unknown ?? I'd rather have a guy who has had some success, at least thru the end of the year. Maybe Mark Jackson

Mark Jackson is a terrible coach, fact is that team when healthy should have been a contender, under Jackson they were never considered close to that.

As far as Hastings, he may or may not suck as a coach, but his resume is as good as many coaches that are hired around the league, including Jackson when he was hired for the Warriors.

Reality is this year is a throw away year at this point, so who really cares who the coach is at this point outside of the cause of this being a throw away year being run off.
