Watt is the MVP

Post#1 » by clyde21 » Mon Dec 29, 2014 6:24 am

Sorry offense, but the guy is just ridiculous. If Watt doesn't win it this year, I can't imagine a defensive player ever winning it. I realize Houston isn't in the playoffs and the whole MVP trophy is about 'value', but Watt right now is THE best player in the league, bar none.

1. Watt
2. Rodgers
3. Murray
4. Brady

I think Romo falls in the 3-5 range as well.....

Watt should easily be the MVP IMO.

I think he will get it. It is the perfect storm. Nobody on offense was above and beyond anybody else and Watt destroyed the league. Throw in his receiving TD (did he have two?) Plus you have seen in MLB pitchers getting the MVP which shows that people in voting situations are thinking a little more outside the box. I see the NFL doing it.

Respectfully disagree....take Watt off his team and take Rodgers off his team. Which player not being on their team make the bigger difference? Rodgers is way more valuable to his team than Watt is to his. Look at last year when Rodgers broke his collarbone.

Watt is awesome...don't get me wrong. I just don't think he's as valuable to his team as Rodgers is to the Pack. I know this won't be popular but oh well.

I agree with you, but I'm still giving it to Watt. A QB will get it the next decade.

I won't lose any sleep if he gets it. He's a beast and seems to be a decent dude as well. The MVP thing is a tough call, especially in Baseball and Football.

It still bothers me a bit that Bowman got zero votes for D-MVP last year. That really bothered me when it happened.
