Rather have him play even though I think the second step/weight shift was intentional. Want the Lions going to Seattle.

Agreed. He's a douche and under any other circumstances I'd love it but we need Detroit to win.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Dallas' pass defense is 26th in the league, and their overall D is 20th. I think this game is more about their ability to stop Detroit than vice versa.

Dallas has the best run blocking OL in football. So I think Suh being suspended in addition to Fairley being out with injury is a huge deal in this matchup.

Right is right and Suh needs to pay. We have to beat the best to be the best. I hope the NFL sticks to their guns.

You don't really have to beat the best to win the Super Bowl but if we have to beat Dallas, we obviously can.

No you don't. However beating Dallas, Seattle, and then either Denver or New England in the Superbowl would be historic.

Beating Carolina, Detroit, and then some other AFC team would be kind of boring.

In the playoffs, sub-par defenses like Dallas' usually lead to their team's demise. Yes, losing Suh is a blow to Detroit's defense, but they are still superior to Dallas'.

Yeah it's quite boring to see your team win the Super Bowl. Sure, if I could hand-pick the entertainment knowing that we'd win regardless I'd do that but the entire reason that there are basically zero dynasties is that when you have to win a 3 or 4 game parlay of 50/50 or worse games, even the best team is probably going to lose somewhere in there.

In the grand scheme of the history of the playoffs, this is true, because teams with subpar defenses have to play 2, 3, maybe 4 good offenses to win it all so fraudulent teams that won in the regular season against a bunch of teams that weren't good on offense get exposed in one of those games almost always. Very hard to beat 2-4 good offenses in a row with a bad defense.

However, put this game in a vacuum, because we are playing just one game. It's a big deal. I agree that Dallas' lack of defense might do them in when its all said and done because chances are they won't win 4 games against competent offenses in a row with it. This particular one game, though, has now swung more in Dallas' favor.

Winner of Dallas v. Detroit will come down to which QB doesn't turn the ball over.

Also, I think Suh will be suspended anytime there is a questionable stomp or dirty play. Dude has quite the rep in the NFL now.

Yeah, I am just trying to look at the bright side of it all. Suh being suspended for the playoffs will hopefully assure he stops this nonsense now. And if it means a Cowboys victory and our road to the Superbowl is through Dallas and at Seattle because of it, so be it.

Yep, I have no pity for him. There's no way he would've been suspended for this if he hadn't been an idiot so many times previously.

Unfortunate that it has a chance to negatively affect our playoff situation but Dallas is the better team and I feel like they were going are going to win this game, with or without Suh in there, the majority of the time.

Suh steps on Aaron Rodgers and the Cowboys and possibly the Seahawks benefit from it.Suh needed to be suspended but that **** sucks.

In this situation you wish Suh would have to serve his suspension the next time the Lions face the Packers,or the next time Suh faces the Packers if it's next season with a different team.

That just gives any player to go all out on a player, especially NFC vs AFC games. Imagine Peppers stomping on Tom Brady this year. Using what you suggest, he'll be suspended for a game 4 years from now, when he'll probably be retired.

That's what I thought when I read that too,if our road to the Super Bowl is Carolina and Detroit at Lambeau we'll be in the Super Bowl and there would be nothing boring about that.

Yeah I know the league couldn't actually do it like that but in this situation we really get screwed,at least IMO.I thought Detroit had a real shot to win Sunday and I said a week or two ago that I thought Detroit had a shot match-up wise to give Seattle a run for their money.

Not having Suh to go against Murray and that Dallas o-line is a major blow for Detroit and pretty much locks Seattle into playing yet another mediocre team.

Carolina did play Seattle tough this season but it was in Carolina and back in October.

Back in October when Carolina was playing terribly.

The Panthers lost by 21 to us the week before that game (and it wasn't even that close). They lost by 18 to New Orleans at home the week after. They lost by 24 to the Eagles the week after that and again it was 45-7 at one point. Lost again at home to a bad Falcons team and then got blown out on the road against the Vikings.

Saying they played them back in October like they were playing great back then seems kind of weird. The only other game in that 6 game stretch that was close was the Atlanta game. The fact that Seattle couldn't blow them out at that time says a lot.

No,I meant back in October from Seattle's perspective when they were playing ok compared to playing lights out the last month and a half.

But you bring up a good point about Carolina, they've been playing a lot better recently too and people can say what they want about the NFC south but for Carolina to go into Atlanta yesterday in a winner take all game and blow them out and hold Atlanta's offense to only 3 points was pretty impressive.

That game tells you Carolina is playing good football and that they're pretty serious about this playoff thing, maybe they could give Seattle a tough game.
