Still, this team is showing that they're up there with the elite teams.

No doubt about it. Teams have to literally fight as hard as we do, for the whole game, to beat us. If teams don't do that, we win. It's as simple as that.

I'm so impressed by just how much we scratch and claw every single possession.

I'm honestly not even that mad.... It took a complete screwjob by the refs for a top five team in the West to beat the Raptors at home in OT nonetheless! Just proves the greatness of this team!

What game were you watching? Two top-3 teams just took a close game into OT and it could have went either way, even with their three straight 3s.

If that's garbage, you must watch the 95 Bulls on repeat and nothing else.

Who won the game?

Lowry was playing hero ball again. Your J isn't falling, give it up. We need to stop relying on jumpers in the clutch. This is what is going to kill us in the playoffs

Only reason they started relying on Js is because lowry drove into the paint and every time he would get hacked and the refs wouldn't call ****.

Walid wrote:Even with the refs we were up by a good margin for most of the game. Can't blame refs when we give up wide open 3s. It's getting embarrassing if we keep complaining about it.

If Val had his FTs this game we would have won. He should have had at least 3 trips to the line (6 FTA) and his tech probably wouldn't have happened. That would make it a 7 point disparity between us and that's not even counting the crappy calls put out against Lowry. Do the refs seriously not even respect heart and hard play? It really seems like the league has a f%^&ing agenda against some teams.

I want the refs in this game to be demoted. So many bad calls. So inconsistent. They really don't know how to manage the game. The 4th quarter is suppose to be more physical because each possession is more tightly guarded. But they do the opposite. They make sure the road teams play softer D by putting them near the bonus early in the quarter.
Lowry attacked the rim all night long and he only got 6 foul shots. meanwhile, Aldridge is throwing bows everywhere and Amir or JV gets called for defensive fouls? Its just unfair and makes me sick to my stomach. I know refs have a tough job but come on. this is happening on a nightly basis for the raptors on the road.

Referee's have too much impact on the game for the NBA to ever be a great sport.

We need DD to be our closer. Lowry should really be the second option to free him up

Wouldn't have had to be hero ball if Casey just kept JJ and rotated between 2Pat/Lou.

JJ is a black hole on offense, even though he does good things 3/5 times the ball will stick and his jumper unreliable

Lemme bring you back to stats -

Vasquez: 5-13, 3PT 2-7, 13 PTS
Williams: 1-10, 3PT 0-5, 7 PTS

I know Vasquez may have issues with the fam back home but he's still chucking when he should be passing. Almost ALL OUR LOSSES ARE BECAUSE OF THESE 2 GUYS.

IF VASQUEZ HAS ISSUES AT HOME TAKE TIME OFF INSTEAD OF LOSING US GAMES. F*** CASEY!

Why wasn't JV used in overtime? Rather have JV throwing up hook shots than Lowry going for layups only to get blocked.

azorian wrote:I also agree with this. The entire team hardly touched the ball. Plus he choked. On top of that the refs were sketchy as hell....bad combo. I would also love to see one other play be called at the end of a shot clock. This is a hunch....but I think the other team knows you're going iso

Yup. Lowry repeatedly keeps going iso. He has a tendency to do that. I have no idea what the coaching staff is doing, but I refuse to believe they're drawing up iso's. Little guys can't be your go to guys in crunch time. It's a learning experience, and I don't mind the loss, but Lowry has to stop the hero balling.
